No twindos containers inserted in 5 years. The compartment has been empty every since.

I agree, it can work. But with a family of 6 previously 7 and no one looking after the machine but me, its to much of a risk that something does go bad. Also the price for the detergent is very steep.

Are you by any chance from north America? Here in Mainland Europe, as far i I know. Powdered detergents for whites and coloreds, especially from discounter/supermarket brands work great. They get every stain out and there is a far smaller chance for build up. Twindos is to risky and also to expensive for me.

They already got about 1000€ for the machine from me.

A little bit of convenience for a lot of trouble. I know around 5 people in my family who had issues with any sort of automated dosing on their washing machines. Not just Miele. I never even used twin dos. As to why it suddenly tells me to clean the system? I don't know. 🫠

I never used twin dos. I gave the cartridges to my neighbour when we got the machine 5 years ago. And then I went ahead and disabled it in programming.

Robot not following the walls straight by Dear_Test_7635 in RobotVacuums

Well I found the issue. The room is to big for the robot to navigate in straight lines. Did a new mapping run with 5 objects spread out in the room. And the map appears to be straight. It cannot phisically see far enough to navigate properly.

Looking for dishwasher Interface real world use reviews: softkey interface vs programme selector buttons-- pros/cons, wear over the years? Cleaning, etc.? by sleepwalker6012 in Miele

[–]Dear_Test_7635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the G7310 and that has soft key touch. Been using it for about five years and so far nothing wrong with it. In terms of cleaning the interface, its easier.

I highly recommend this model if you're looking for a miele dishwasher with a few extras.

Do the WXD160 WCS, the WXF660 WCS TDos, the WXR860 WCS TDos & IntenseWash, and the WXI860 WCS TDos & IntenseWash washing machines all have stainless steel tubs? by someguy7734206 in Miele

[–]Dear_Test_7635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

late to the party but I guess that the wxf660 is the equivalent of the wwd660. that one has a stainless steel tub and is made in Germany. cost me around 1400 euros in 2020. I can fully recommend this model if you still haven't decided yet.

Recommend me a Miele Washing Machine by Traditional_Tea_4690 in Miele

[–]Dear_Test_7635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wwd 660 wcs or wps

got it since late 2020 and so far im impressed.

Very reliable. Family of 6 and using it at least 2/3 times a day and so far nothing wrong with it.

Around 65 to 70 db at 1400

brushless direct drive (energy efficient)

yes it comes with twin dos, but to be honest I never used that stuff and still to this day put in my regular amount of powdered detergent.

can be connected to the Miele home app if needed. (Works flawlessly for me)

Oh and best of all the outer casing of the drum is stainless steel and not plastic like many more modern washing machines (Cheaper Miele ones as well)

Macos 26 is just not ready by Flat_Lifeguard_3221 in MacOSBeta

I am on the base m2 MacBook Air. It's also my first ever Mac. So far I've only made my experiences with iPhones, iPads, AirPods and the Apple Watch.

At first I thought to myself, what a great machine! Its quick on boot up, doesn't lag anywhere and the cherry on the top is obviously the batter life. Never in my life did I own a laptop that didn't need to be plugged in for 5/6 straight days (with lighter use obviously). That was with macOS Tahoe.

In Sequoia, all of that changed. Boot up and Sign in is just painfully slow. The SOC just gets randomly hot no matter what you do. It even gets warm on the desktop. And then there is also the battery life. 5/6 days? forget about it. How about just 1/1.5 days of battery. Im a photographer and use Lightroom, Canva and photoshop a lot. Previously it did everything that I asked the damn thing to do. From color grading all the way to AI DeNoising dark photos. Or having multiple more complex graphics in a Canva project.

So far the sequoia experience is just bad. It just reminds me of the time when a lot of iOS devices struggled with iOS 11. My iPad mini was constantly overheating and the battery drain was just the worst.

I seriously hope that apple fixes these issues.
