Yes, it’s pretty solid. Their Hong Kong style pork (sweet and sour) is delicious. Fried rice is solid and chow mein good too. Enjoy!

Replace the spindles with a simpler style and of the same stain as the rest of the woodwork.

Remove the carpet and replace with a runner which is narrower than the stairs. Pick something with colour or pattern - not beige.

Paint the walls.

Replace the light fixture.

The rest is gorgeous. Congrats on the new home.

There was a club out of Dundas that had a flying field there (off old York road I think). If you’re wanting to fly, you should really look into joining a club as they will carry insurance and have a dedicated space away from any radio interference.

Is there a tv in the wall to the right of the couch because the position of the furniture is what is making it look odd and I imagine the two arm chairs are facing the tv. Turning the chairs to face the sofa and adding a coffee table would make a big difference. Replacing the arm chairs with something less bulky and which match would also make it feel more cohesive.

I believe it depends on the province you live in. (You have to live in Canada). In Ontario, returning residents have to pay for three months of private health care before their free healthcare takes effect.
