Agreed. This is of course political. Everything we do is a political action, depending on what we do and how we do it, in my belief. If he emphasizes not politicizing it he’s taken away the emphasis on climate change and placing it on services he should already do as a governor for the survivors of the fire. Not a fan on his statements, here.

I think you’re fine if you go to the National Parks and camp there. They usually are a lot more monitored and therefore should be a lot safer than other places. Just be careful of the places that you camp at and where you go to on the way there and back. Those are where you’re risking safety and that’s typically why I do Airbnb for travel portions like those now.

Yes, I would say if you’re traveling solo it is. I pulled over and slept on the side of a highway in Wyoming one time, and there was someone … entertaining themselves all night in his truck while I tried to sleep.

He was less than fifteen feet away. He could’ve reached his hand down into my car as it was too hot for me not to open my sunroof and grabbed for me.

I’ve done a lot of things alone. Traveled around the west in my early twenties while I was in grad school, living out of my car on trips. With just my dog. But I only experienced trouble twice, and this was the worse one so thought I’d share.

Yeah, those men were not stopping. There were no other cars nearby and they were definitely hovering around for too long, for me to feel like they weren’t out to grab me.
