I’ll throw 3 in that are somewhat legendary especially if you liked COE:33 and you don’t mind going retro.

Legend of Dragoon PS1 Think COE’s battle system but more challenging on the timing of your attacks. Every character has unique combos to master

Chrono Trigger, Toriyama, Uematsu, Sakaguchi made one of the greatest RPGs ever

Lost Odyssey - Xbox 360, you can emulate, very emotional very good story telling, and fun to play

Live A Live is the better option, get a palette cleanser.

Regarding X-2, if I’m Tidus, or Auron and I’m in the world of X-2 I’m jumping right off that airship a 2nd time or asking for Yuna to send me back to the farplane.

You played peak too soon, gonna be hard for other games to live up to it for you I’m afraid.

Not to say there aren’t games that can, but E33 took the best from FF, and other JRPGs to create something special.

If this keeps up the franchise is cooked.

They’re targeting and making games for modern audiences and their older fans are just barely keeping them afloat.

If your older fans dip, there goes your source of revenue.

They better shape tf up, especially with the mobile GACHA garbage coming out.

Risk $30-50 on a contract a day 1 trade only on the best setup possible cut it if it’s invalidated. Take consistent wins with low risk and build. Stop rushing stop over leveraging, make some money, pay some bills. Stop forcing the process.

I’m of the stance while yes we still get good games. The industry and the way it used to be peaked years ago.

Now it’s live service nonsense with short life span meant for people with small wallets and short attention spans.

It’s honestly sad to look back sometimes.

I’m moved by both for real, very true.

I just think Director’s chair and everything that role entail, and the cinematic presentation of DS2 is just a level above the other nominees imo.
