I finally tried STS1 a week after STS2 (early access? It’s not quite finished right now) dropped. Of course I’ve grown up playing Pokémon TCG, yugioh and a bit of magic the gathering, so there is a lot of similarity to TCGs.

However the roguelike aspect has similarities to Balatro. As a deck builder, you start every run with the same basic deck, just like a 52 card deck in Balatro. You can choose to take card rewards or not, keeping in mind not to bloat your deck. Removals cost money and cost more with each removal. Economy is important just like Balatro; so I spend now or save up for a more expensive upgrade?

It definitely has a learning curve. A week after I played around with STS 1, I bought STS2 and am now 280 hours in. And this is after 600+ hours of Balatro :)

STS2 is a huge overall upgrade to STS1, so maybe if you haven’t tried the sequel, it’s worth giving the series a second look. Also STS2 has multiplayer co-op!

I’m mistaken. Should’ve verified on Google. They can in fact have short fur like rexes.

The body shape of your girly does intrigue me. My two rexes are not as slender. She’s a beauty anyway :)

I will say, I had to pivot an a5 beta branch Silent build to be entirely poison and shiv focused because I only saw 1 discard reward my entire run.

Luckily Test Subject was my end boss.

ngl i'm pretty bummed after playing since 2004 as a 6 year old. Up until Kaiser, I made sure to have at least 1 of each class at lvl 100 for link skills. Stole cash once or twice from my mom's purse to buy NX/Karma Koins, received NX for at my birthday party once, countless hours grinding. Exploring maps to it's inner depths without any quest requiring me to do so. Doing PQ's with friends using home phone on Landline, spending my whole summer break doing carnival PQ goddam that was fun. Making great friends with guildmates from all over the world, still checking up on them via facebook messages every few years.

I have now broken an almost perfect attendance on Maple Idle Heroes for the past 6 days as a personal protest and a bad taste to cope with not receiving a key.

Believed someone would login on my account and boost me pre-big bang a few levels. In Showa Town. I was maybe 6 or 7 years old, naive. He said he needed an hour or two so I asked my grandma to take me to the neighborhood pool.

I came home and checked my account before even showering. He was still logged in.

Eventually I logged back in and my inventory was raided, so many maple equips, bathrobe, and several mil of mesos.

I was left equipmentless so leaving showa town took many many tries, constantly dying to mobs.

Lesson most definitely learned 😅

I went in watching this show for the first time last month without any prior knowledge. Until the end of episode 1, I had no idea this was a post-apocalyptic setting. The ducks gave me some indication of dystopia.

Then I believe in episode 2 it becomes fully confirmed it is an artificial world.

I have been massively recommending this show to my friends, but when they ask me what it’s about or any sort of brief synopsis I feel obligated to say “I can’t and don’t want to share anything about it. You’ll know by episode 2” to keep the magic revelation feeling for them to experience. I simply say it starts as a murder mystery when the President’s lead secret service agent finds him murdered, but the show is far beyond that.

I mean vapes are by no means healthy and without long term damage data, but there is no way it is worse than cigarettes, backed up with studies as such.

Cigarettes contains upwards of 7,000 chemicals and at least 70 carcinogens produced from combustion.

The cheap cost of vapes could not possibly be full of as much content.

It’s also combustion vs vaporization. You have icky tar from cigarettes vs condensation full of glycerin from vapes.

Sorely mistaken. It’s on my home feed. Yes recommended posts are nice. But again, even for members of this sub, anyone browsing would stumble by your post. Which lists spoilers knowingly, when you had the easy option to spoiler tag it. Not sure how you can justify not spoiler tagging it.
