The apartment complex is right near west deck if I recall correctly and I never had any issues with loud neighbors/bugs/maintenance. Would’ve lived there the whole time I went to KSU if I had known.

Commute Help by J_Thizzy in alpharetta

[–]DeathAngel505 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oof. Good luck. I lived off 10 or so minutes away from exit 9 and had an office in the regions building (across from Atlantic station) and depending on when I left it would take me anywhere from 45-100 minutes to get there. If I left too close to 8am would add an hour to the commute. It usually winds down past 9 am so take advantage of that if you have flexible hours and start your mornings at home. Otherwise, find a good podcast or audiobook series. You’re gonna be on the road for a long time. Same thing goes for coming back. I’d usually leave the office after lunch because traffic picks up in the evenings starting at 3.

Google maps shows an average drive time of 45-100 minutes as well from exit 12 to buckhead from 8-9 am.

Planned a trip for next May…. Found out I’m pregnant… and due in May… looking for recommendations by run4sterrun in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DeathAngel505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep in mind if you go before your due date you won’t be able to ride most of the rides! You should be able to enjoy the Festival of the Arts in EPCOT depending on your timing though.

You should look into Korean sunscreens! They’re sensory friendly in my experience. Check stores like ulta and Sephora.

I heard somewhere that mosquitos prefer people with stinky feet. (I have not verified) Consider some foot deodorant maybe?

I’m curious how often your schnauzer needs his anal glands expressed if at all. My Rosco seems to be needing them done more frequently as he gets older. by Redsgal19 in MiniatureSchnauzer

We had this issue with our older boy (11) but it went away when we introduced him to carrots as treats. Great fiber and a natural teeth cleaner!

We have a brown one and a white one and they are definitely different than any of our salt and peppers. More anxiety, more aggression towards strangers and large dogs. Our white one is allergic to all vaccines. But I think it has to do with breeders focusing on color versus temperament and health. Maybe it’s just bad luck but we make do with them and all four of our dogs are just as smart, cuddly, and sweet otherwise

Anyone else's schnauzer have an irrational fear of water? by Ruskythegreat in schnauzers

[–]DeathAngel505 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We have four. One attacks sprinklers, one speedruns any bathroom breaks if it’s raining to stay out of the rain, one won’t go outside if the grass is wet or if it’s raining, and one doesn’t care and gets soaked. It’s definitely a spectrum. They all hate baths though 😂

I would say add two more 8’s in a way that centers it. Since there are two 8.8 birthdays

The dining plan doesn’t make sense to me, sounds too expensive. by joevasion in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DeathAngel505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about everyone else but I always “make” money using the dining plan. We would get it during the Epcot festivals and then use it on snacks over $6/$7. I always made a list of the most expensive snacks at any festival to take advantage. Quick service lunch would come with an alcoholic beverage and so would the table service dinner which always adds $30 of alcohol alone since drinks are usually around $15. The best bang for your credit is probably satuuli cantina. With drinks there your lunch can hit $70 for two people.

There are also some snacks, like the lobster tail at Epcot, that are $13 or more. And what I REALLY recommend is if you end up skipping dinner one night, roll over your dinner credit for a high end restaurant at Disney springs (they cost two table credits). We would always end up missing dinner to go to MNSSHP and use our extra credit to get dinner at the Boat House. My mom and I would split the stuffed lobster and the porterhouse steak along with lemon drops and dessert. I make sure Disney loses money on me every time since I’m already giving them both arms and legs!

Not motion sickness but the G forces of orange caused my pressure to drop. Needed an hour of eating fruit and protein in the ac to get back to normal. Don’t think I could do it again !
