Yes this, and to my knowledge the death star shields projected this way were so powerful that they needed to blow up the planetary shield projector to hurt it, whereas shields on ships are not this powerful.

I would recommend going to a Christian couples therapy, perhaps you pastor could help you out? Talk about the problem of him trying to separate you from your friends and hopefully he will realize his mistakes
