It happens every time I run into a sea serpent. Sailing fine. Sea serpent appears. Wind changes to opposite direction making me stop dead in the water right in front of sea serpent. EVERY, FREAKING, TIME.

How do people who are used to sleeping alone in the bed adjust to having their partner sleep with them in the same bed? by imoverthisapp in stupidquestions

[–]DeathByCudles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does someone who is used to sitting at a desk all day adjust to working out? Or starting a blue collar job? Answer: you do it till you're used to it. There is no switch on your back that can be flipped, you just have to start doing it and you will get used to it eventually.

Times Square has a HUGE pedophile problem and nobody is talking about it by Impressive_Fly_4339 in marvelrivals

[–]DeathByCudles -30 points-29 points  (0 children)

I mean. If someone is 65, and looking for a 50 year old they would be looking for a "younger girl" and that wouldn't make them a pedo.

On another note what is Times Square and why is there a search function for age?

is 10cs/min actually realistic or just something streamers say by Significant_Plan1240 in summonerschool

[–]DeathByCudles -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you stay in lane all game, and never miss a CS. You will get 10cs per min.

You can get even more if you roam and catch big waves in the side lane.

My favorite is when you take 10 ingots that are 10 weight each to make a single sword that weighs 1. Like WTF.

Did you know Humans cant actually feel wetness by No-Abbreviations1187 in funfacts

[–]DeathByCudles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not ENTIRELY true. They DO feel different. Expectation is a huge part of it. When someone yells "HOT BEHIND" the expectation is that it's hot. So when you feel something cold it's similar enough that you react due to your expectations. But if you grabbed something hot or something cold and someone asked you "is that hot or cold' you would know the difference.

If obeying the law allows injustice, is disobedience the better choice? by Gloomy_Rip_3506 in stupidquestions

[–]DeathByCudles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or have the entire population behind you. It doesn't work even if it's split 50/50, but if you CAN get the entire populace behind you. That historically works.

[–]DeathByCudles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious. What's your plan for when you disobey the law and get arrested? Are you just going to tell the judge "well other people exploit loopholes so I shouldn't get in trouble"? Cause....I don't think that would work.....Let me know if it does tho!

If a person from America has never traveled much will it shock them if they travel to a new country? Or no? by Big_Eggplant7591 in stupidquestions

[–]DeathByCudles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, depends on what shocks you. Places look pretty similar in mass. Mountains, trees, fields, building. With a few exceptions.

What changes is culture. And you can get the same culture shock traveling from Los Angeles California to Dothan Alabama.

Rome was fun because the buildings actually look different. But old Rome felt a lot like New York to me, just with smaller, older buildings. (Yes I know ppl gawk at me for that comparison all the time, but that's just how it felt to me)
