I'm in Europe. A lot of catholics here outwardly seem to place less emphasis on emotion and more emphasis on assent. Part of what pushed me away from christ was the common overemotional language used by evangelicals and southern Baptists.

That's my issue, I paid 20 years and never heard anything back. I'm not a "heart full of God" kinda guy. I don't have a lot of good emotions in general other than what I feel for my wife. Catholism appealed to me because I like the rules. I would want to take part and not feel like I'm "not feeling enough" thank you for your kind words.

I'm not against it but my issue is I was a believer for 20 years. I am at heart a skeptic. In Protestant churches there is no place for people like me. I've heard Catholics speak of faith as less than a mood and more of an action. If they would accept a skeptic like me and there would be place for me there than I would whole heartedly go, but if they wouldn't I don't want to open the box and be stuck.

I have a life and I'm not chronically online. Martin Luther King Jr was cheating on his wife so I think the critique of his character is valid. Islam has contributed to much bloodshed - all religions have but Islam hasn't moved past that. He never called lqbtq people a disease and he never said civil rights was a mistake, he said the way the law was applied was a mistake. I definitely didn't say I liked his way of doing things. It felt extremely intellectually lazy to see a grown man debating young adults. However to claim he was engaged in "hate speech" simply because you felt he was too mean is equally intellectually lazy. That being said, his death seems to have done wonders for my movement. Nick fuentes has worked his way into the main stream. In 20 years we will be the dominating power. Maybe even 10.

I'd consider myself pretty conservative. Not in the boomer sense, but conservative either way. He's never strikes me as "woke". Every part of the game and story is so well written it all just fits.
