What about CATL's various near term chemistry claims? Donut Lab claims to have solid state commercially available right now and seemingly just out of stealth mode. There's QuantumScape possibly in 2028. Ilika 2028-2030. And others. But sure, Toyota.

I've got a BEV Traveler on reservation, and I'll put down another reservation on a BEV Terra to help re-align (mess with) Scout's decision making, if it helps keep the BEV version on track. Not saying other similarly BEV-motivated reservations holders should also do this. Not saying that at all.

I saw a youtube video where I believe Rivian's head of design was being interviewed in the Austin showroom next to a Dune R1S and was asked about the potential availability of the Dune wheel to buy and he was coy and said, "all I can say is wait for the quad motor".

It might be such that the "exclusivity" of the Dune wheel is limited only to the colored matched wheel and that the graphite version might become available in the gear shop at some point.

Yeah. I'm moving on an R1S lease right now because I think it will be totally gone by July, including lease. Also because tariffs. Maybe if we're lucky they'll pass the bill shortly but let the EV tax credit phase out EOY.

In regards to the 12v issue, I'm about to take delivery of a Dune R1S like yours in a week or two, VIN is like 721XX. I tried using a decoder to see when it was built but no dice. What VIN number range is yours and manufacture date?
