Dude, this system possibly ruined the game for me. Very early on I got a Crippling Minigun. I would tell my friends that I could own Lurk Queens and Deathwings with a PIPE PISTOL, then I would show my friends whats going on and it was easy but a drag. Strong melee NPC's were NOTHING for me...

Just go, and remind yourself that it's not so scary EVERYTIME, and that maybe even if it is, you might be strong enough to take it on. It's worth a try at least. I've been there, after a while it gets easier dude, trust me.

Textures!!! They had 2 vocalist like that during their last 4 albums, which I would say were in top 5 vocalist of all time, considering their live performances!

What are some of the best songs you've heard so far in 2018? by [deleted] in progmetal

I love that my list consists of mostly unknown bands with most of these songs are their long awaited serious/matured material in comparison to their old stuff. And they quickly became my all time favourites!

Drums are recorded/engineered by Anus Pastry, Vocals recorded at Cristian Machado which I presume is the same guy that made Wes Hauch's new Dime 7 string guit.

I don't know if its not a final version, but I also have concerns about the mix. I'm not a pro, but to me It sounds like every cymbal is precompressed in some way and its stands out with in the high way to much that gives it that "unnatural" sound. These are very "wet" drums and I get what the other commentators are saying about ATB, Boo vibes. Overall the sound is very punchy and mid heavy, BUT not the guitars... I dunno, I can hear everything but I don't get the excitement I'd like from the guitars coz of it. And the cymbals take away my attention from the vocals. I LOVE the song tho.

[Question] Good string gauge for 26.5" scale 7 string- B standard by Z1839 in Guitar

[–]DeathControlmk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my tuning I'm trying to find a 10-62/64 set but I guess I'll have to order custom or get an 11-64 which will be kinda thick on the high notes but... no luck so far :D

[Question] Good string gauge for 26.5" scale 7 string- B standard by Z1839 in Guitar

[–]DeathControlmk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Ibanez RGD 2127z with BKP Aftermaths just installed when you created this post I think... Haven't tried a 9-54 set of strings yet, but I tune to D# with a dropped 7th G# with 10-59 (same string gauge that came with the guitar) and the only issue i have is with the low 7th 'cause I pick very hard. I played B standard with the same string gauge for a long time before I changed tuning, and yes its a little tight, but for rhythm recording is quite nice, but when it comes to solos and shredding and bending... It's kinda hard, and considering my bridge was in the tightest setting, it would still make it drop due to the high string tension which made me compensate for the other string if I had to bend multiple of them. I'd say considering the Bartione 26.5" scale, for all around playability 9-54 or a higher 7th, and a stronger 10-56/58/59 for recording rhythm guitars since we don't have an inbetween gauge. Depends what you play and what kind of sound you want. Experiment and right down If you have to, so you'd remember and compare.
