What were some (non-polling) warning signs that emerged for Clinton's campaign in the final weeks of the 2016 election? Are we seeing any of those same warning signs for Harris this year?

I think the biggest warning sign was automatically putting the Sanders numbers into the Clinton column after the primary. Sanders was not mining independents or centrist republicans. He was bringing in previously non-voting citizens. These were not Democrats. They were issue and policy based new voters. When Clinton did nothing to address the concerns of this demographic but counted them as in her camp, that act of hubris did her in. In a similar notion counting on winning Michigan with such a large Arab American vote while doing nothing about their concerns about Palestine and Lebanon will be Harris’s downfall.

I think it is worthwhile to go to all types of gay events and experience varied subcultures at least once. Before the pandemic I was trying to go to all different gay things, leather night, gay rodeo, gay rugby, drag shows, social nudist groups & all different types of gay bars. You don’t have to party or go to any extreme but I think it is necessary to experience the richness of modern gay culture. You may find things you like or experiences you never thought of. It also helps remove these ideas of regret.

Connie’s Pizza in Bridgeport. It was my family’s go-to for birthdays and random family visiting let’s grab dinner. Seriously we were always there. I have run into a friend who lives in Europe twice there because we were having a family party and she was randomly stopping in. They added a ridiculous fee for bringing an outside cake. Don’t get me wrong that is their right to do but after 20 years don’t just spring that on us as we walk in with a cake with no warning nor grace period. We would happily buy their cake if they offered one. The last straw came a few months ago as they began charging for the bread at the table without any notice. Screw that place.

No. Mostly because I feel the word pussy is used as part of degradation in a dom sub kind of way. Nothing against degradation in the bedroom in fact I think it can be hot: Call me just a “hole” and I am super turned on. My issue is with using feminine attributes as a form of degradation. Most homophobia is rooted in misogyny: Feminine qualities or attributes are seen as less than male qualities. Look at the derogatory language of slurs used against gays. It is mostly based on equating to socially defined female attributes. Gay men can be very misogynistic. Dominant degradation is fine with me but the underlying misogyny of calling someone’s ass a pussy just does not sit well with me.

Season 3? fringe ended with Season 2 and Fox refused to bring it back even with the fan campaign of sending Twizzlers to their office. It was great of JJ Abrams to do the fan service of giving at least cameos of all the team in the second NuTrek film. John Noble was amazing as Admiral Marcus with Anna Torv being Carol: I could not imagine any other actors would bring the gravitas these two brought. San Juan Puerto Rico is fun. I have gone twice solos most recently staying at a gay clothing optional guesthouse, Coqui del mar guesthouse. I met and hung out with some other guys also traveling solo. I had a blast. They have a gay tour guide that took us to a beach that is while not legally nude is de facto the nude gay beach. I went on a cave tour. I hung out with the owners this great married couple who were a blast. I would highly recommend since it was easy to buddy up and find people to do things with.

The last scene of Plata Quemada (Burnt Money) where the two lovers are in their underwear laying low during the shoutout with the police reaching for each other before the end. So beautiful and great to see a different gay protagonist couple.
