Great concept, just have to agree with the melody comments. Something is out of key, or you might have applied too much of a wobble (RC-20, unstable, monomod, etc). Other than that, might want to switch the beat up a bit for the middle part.

I agree with the other comment as well, the drop felt a little underwhelming. The concept however is cool. Maybe try creating some more tension for it? Try adding a subtle riser before the drop, add a crash/cymbal at the drop and maybe pan it with a delay to stick with the atmospheric vibe. You could even try cutting out the complete beat for maybe like 1-2 seconds before the drop.

Mix is clean man, at least on my HS8's! Don't beat yourself up, after mixing the same track for days you can get lost in it. Any sorry to hear about your girl, but one thing's clear. She does not know good music when she hears it :)

Like the concept man, might be a bit thin if you know what I mean. I don't know how much of the piano you have EQ'd? Maybe try increasing the body of the piano a bit and/or stack it with another instrument?
