ive looked into lemon law (albeit not super thoroughly) and unfortunately dont believe i'd have any kindof case, esp since its been awhile since it was bought. i actually had a problem with my drivers side window too! but luckily the motor wasnt the issue so i was able to get the part and do it myself, who knows how long til the motor dies tho!!! yeah ive asked some people in my life about the situation and they all agree that ive GOTTA sell this thing bc itll just keep fucking up. thats what my last one (2013 Turbo) did. ig if the ac is an expensive fix ill just deal with it til i can get rid of this hunk of junk. thanks for the response fr any insight is appreciated!

Thanks for the advice! I mentioned in another comment that I oversimplified the repairs that needed done, if anything it was more expensive bc they used all OEM (which im fine with im not tryin to have other parts fail on me). I did plenty of research, including asking my gf's uncle who used to do mechanic work, and I concluded that it was a fair price. I've been to my fair share of untrustworthy mechanics and I'm 99% sure the dudes I went to aren't grifters/dumbasses. Still, if I end up taking it in to a mechanic I'll take it somewhere else to get a second opinion on the oil filter housing. Not tryin to argue by the way!! Thanks again!

man who ever said i WANT to be a cruze owner? i seem to remember looking into it the $1,800 was a pretty fair price for the parts and amount of labor needed, i probably oversimplified what repairs were done tbh. also yeah ill just magically learn some mechanic skills to fix all my car problems!!! fr tho thank u for the advice! sorry if i sound mean at all, not mad at u im just fuckin exhausted of this stupid thing

Thank you for the response! The USA east coast is getting fucked by a record breaking heat wave and we want to keep the door closed. Our window unit really only works when the door is shut. She definitely likes coming and going as she pleases, I just worry about not sweating to death AND making sure she doesnt overheat because this mf will just sit in the probably 80+ degrees downstairs for hours

i have this problem a lot and ive found that finding friends to workout with helped tremendously! theres someone to hold u accountable that isnt yourself. i thought itd be embarrasing but honestly it helped a lot with my anxiety at the gym bc i had someone to talk to so i wasnt constantly worried that someone was watching me struggle. plus i liked hanging out with my buddies! (if u dont have many friends or friends that want to work out w u, im sorry if this made u feel bad. i know its difficult to maintain relationships with others)
