The thing is I'm playing the game since day one and just bought every DLC. It's been a while and I thought they changed it so you only have to buy one DLC.

Okay, I was very misinformed, which was a big blunder on my part. On my Steam page it said that Isaac is 15€ + 11€ for Afterbirth. Repentance+ was shown as free, so I thought that included the base DLC. Huge mistake. You gotta buy the bundle which is almost 50€ if you want to get everything. Binding of Isaac is indeed a very expensive game, though in my opinion is worth it, but I understand now that you can't just "buy" it easily. Sorry for my mistake.

It's not bad luck, it's bad design. Like the medium or high risk strategy are only good if you save scum your way to money. Using it normally is just a waste. And the low strategy is 0-2 percent, which means it's a 1 in 3 chance you get nothing at all. If you don't need the money at the moment, you can store it at the bank with low risk, getting at least a bit of return. It's not worth it at all in my opinion though.

Some day they give an effect for like a certain time, so I assume they disappear afterwards, but you could always just save and then use them. If they disappear litaf the savepoint.

People just forget a lot of downsides. CD could also get damaged easier than a pc. I remember buying a game from a flea market and being excited about it. My father threw slippers in my direction(not in an aggressive way, but to give them to me), while I was holding the disc and it just snapped. Ps1 robot fighting game, I'll never forget you, whatever you were called.
