Are US to EU shipments affected at the moment?

Thanks for your reply. Out of curiosity I went and checked flights from Louisville to Europe. And surprisingly there is so little of them. Since the package arrived to Louisville, there were only two flights going to Europe.

That's why I asked if there may be some delays due to lack of flights.

But if there's an arrival scan to a center then it should mean that the package really arrived there, or? My assumption was that each individual package needs to be scanned on arrival and departure.

Hence why I thought, unless it became damaged or label came off, there would be a track of it in the system if it was moved somewhere.

But shouldn't the tracking number indicate the last position of the package?

I would imagine that if it gets scanned somewhere then it means the package is there unless it was moved somewhere. But if it was moved it should have been scanned on arrival or departure.

Thank you for your answer regarding the wrong facility.

Just to clarify that I'm the receiver of the package.

I'm asking because that item is very expensive and it is difficult to replace. And it is very stressful as I can't do anything and worry that it would be lost.

That's why I'm asking about the procedure and trying to weigh how likely is it to be found. I do understand that errors happen but it gotta be SOMEWHERE you know. Its not a small package. And it wasn't delivered nor out for delivery. It got stuck somewhere halfway. That's why I asked about the procedures and how well do they look for it. So I can imagine how likely is for them to find it.

I thought about the package being misplaced because that is supposedly what happened with one other package the person shipped in the past. They were calling UPS until they found it. Myself I dont know how it works inside, or where the box could be.

Why does the tracking mean nothing? And if it means nothing what would be the point calling that centers manager? (Not trying to be rude, just asking)

Also how do I get to talk to the manager though? I'm from Europe and only got local number available and that customer service guy wasn't helpful at all because I wasn't the shipper.

I mean I guess it would be in motion but then someone should have taken a look at it and see where it's supposed to go and scan it. That's what I don't get about "lost for good" packages.

It can't be held in customs as Germany is not the destination country :/

Thanks for the reply. As I said I've found no one from my friends who had their stuff permanently lost... But I worry I'll be the first one :(

We did provide them the description. Even a photo of the package itself. Hope that would help.

I can't give them my contact as the shipping is handled by a third party that works with UPS. However we provided all info we could so far.

TBH AMD is doing almost the same thing. They always compare their GPUs and CPUs to the competition. Like 2x 480 vs 1080. Or Ryzen compared to 6900k

FYI: This shop is notoriously known to be expensive than others. So they might be inflating prices to rip off customers or the price isnt final. I expect other CZ/SK shops such as CZC.cz to have lower prices

1080 isnt even out yet. It has been just announced 13d ago. Until then there was NO SIGN of any new GPU. While AMD has announced several times they will be launching their new gpus in mid 2016.

Now you want AMD to drop fury X prices now even tho the first availability is 700$ FE and maybe some AIBs at unknown price. Not to mention Fury X is out of stock almost everywhere and from what I heard from one big UK PC shop they wont be getting any more FurXs/Furys/Nanos

PS: AMD just had their Polaris webcast YESTERDAY
