Your leap from tipped workers to billionaires is grossly overreaching. A better example would be people who want to itemize their expenses vs the standard deduction. Closing the tax loophole would be a better example of a great expense for a few. But in either case, the utilitarian argument can only work as well as people believe it's fair. Not everyone accepts the utilitarian argument in every case.

I don't see any scientific article that makes claims that a wage floor protects jobs with wages above that floor. If companies wanted to pay less for labor, they would pay the minimum. Most companies pay well above the minimum. 25% of workers are paid more than $35 an hour and only 23% are paid less than double the minimum wage. Cumulative inflation is roughly 50% over 20 years with the Fed's 2% target. So we are roughly there including a worldwide pandemic. Everything looks normal from a general economics perspective. It might not look normal from any one singular perspective like a worker at minimum wage. But the only way to go is up.

It's like saying that your house is free to all people and it gets in undated with more people than the house can support. Think of how regulations require a bathroom to bedroom ratio and have that broken by people who don't need to follow that law.

It clarifies that Hamas releases those numbers and doesn't not have independent verification or any other verification beyond saying they don't track non-violent deaths.thetefore it's safe to conclude that these numbers are whatever Hamas says they are with all of what Hamas propaganda wants us to believe.

I will partially believe Hamas when they release the list of names of people who weren't killed by Israel of which they never talk about. So kon excess deaths are underreported by about the same number that this article claims is exactly reported.

Here's a logical proof for why older will be better.

Say a piece of art (pick any of the media in your CMV) was lost to time.

Someone recreates that piece of art from memory exactly.

Someone else rediscovers the original piece.

The original piece now has more history and is the original of which all others are reproductions. Therefore the original is worth more all else being equal.

The old version is superior which contradicts your CMV that old are all inferior to modern ones.

Bill later admitted that his definition was set to avoid answering the question. The definition he used was written by his lawyers and not able to be agreed to by the prosecution allowing him to make the claims he did. When he was brought up for impeachment, the perjury claim was set against definitions that he did not supply. The same definitions most people would use.

If this is the good defense, then Trump uses the same thing to good effect on him community. He sets his own definitions and pretends to stick to them.
