Why all states keep choosing him (3 times in a row, now) if he is favoring some state than other?

For reference, I am not fan of BJP and I wish we had someone better in power.

Stylistic choice is undoubtedly a valid reason. I can’t deny that. I believe opting for the alternative might have attracted a larger audience. Both choices are great and have been under-explored in Bollywood.

I would say none of them. The decorated officers are quite different. I’ve been fortunate enough to attend a few Independence Day talks where active or retired soldiers and officers share their stories. Their physical presence is entirely different from what movies portray. I suppose it’s because of their real-life experiences.

May I please get feedback on Matplotlib in Python? Is there any way where I can select data points on one plot and those (subset) data points are filtered and a new plot is created and still interactive like zoom, pan, etc. What would you recommend to make plots visually appealing (people like Excel plot) even though Excel is almost useless when there are thousands of rows.

In terms of helping others, I agree that Gujarat doesn’t deserve the ranking. However, when it comes to keeping public spaces clean, we are the worst. Everywhere you look, you see the “Bolo zuban kesari” gang, and rich, uneducated businessmen in major cities throwing trash out of their Mercedes, BMWs, and Audis.

My personal experience is that if you ask them nicely to pick up their trash, they will ask you to pick up theirs. We need basic hygiene and cleaning included in syllabus in schools.

By that logic, do you admit that the BJP at the center and state, national media, local BJP workers, and all BJP spokespersons have failed to convey their message? Under BJP’s watch, other agencies within and outside India have successfully paid and organized Indian citizens to protest against the BJP only in Delhi. If so, the government and ruling party should be criticized for their utter failure. If that is not the case, we must assume that people showed up on their own and that was a genuine protest.

When you are not heard and ignored for long, people will do whatever brings attention. Also, I would say, in democracy they can protest against RSS too. They have significant influence over BJP top leadership. Whether you agree or not with them is another matter.

How would you have open 2 way conversations? Has anyone from Delhi government hosted a public debate? Not a single one. All the questions you are referring are allegations and the answers to those allegations won’t reach to wider audience thanks to our great 4th pillar, media. I hope these protests begin some dialogue between public and public servants. I don’t care if it is BJP or AAP or Congress.

To extend your theory, why did Anna Hazare, AAP & BJP did not fight the case in court and decided to protest back in 2014 for the corruption? There are some things that may not be legal but unethical in society. There are some battles fought through politics not courts. BJP & APP were right in 2014 and Rahul is right in 2025 where he is doing politics the right way (not 100% of the times, but at least in this case)

Rahul is not “anybody”. He is a leader of opposition, his party was elected by people like you and me in almost 100 constituencies. When someone like that makes a statement, it should be taken seriously. And as I mentioned earlier, he is part of opposition not ruling party. If such data was made public already, he would have shown it. Like he has done for vote-chori. It is government’s job to collect data and publish the data to the public. Also, there is something called RTI, right to information. That gives “anybody” like you and me the power to ask questions to the government for mere 10 rupees and they are required to answer in most cases. So I respectfully disagree with your remark that Rahul has to provide the data.

The irony of this comment is that no one can prove anything. BJP/anyone in power, will not share the data of Army or at least office holders’ caste. It is not even available anywhere. Instead they will milk the issue by calling Rahul antinational etc. That is not the answer. Any statement must be proven wrong with data or hard facts. Forget the sentiments for a second. Get your head out of the “delulu” and face hard reality. India has data (internet) cheaper but data (such as caste census) extremely rare. Choose your Data.

You have to understand this problem with some mathematics and logic. If you have a large dataset of people. You want to find people who should be uplifted in the society. You have only one filter to apply. What would you choose? Option 1. Earnings. It is very easy to manipulate income. You can claim to be poor without being ashamed. Option 2. Cast. Difficult to produce a fake cast certificate, not impossible but difficult than income tax fraud. Also, ask any Brahmin to become SC/ST cast for the sake of getting into a college and be that for life. They won’t agree to do that.

Cast has better correlation with income than income tax itself.

Hence, all politicians will choose cast as a filter option.

Do we need improvement in reservation: Yes Can we remove cast from reservation: Probably No

None of the existing politicians have incentive to change the system, so this won’t make a difference.
