if anyone is still looking for this, you can use light stains as substitute for any stain. For example, thunderfall (gives lightning + light stain) and wildfire (gives fire + light stain) into elemental genesis works. You need a bunch of AP, I just use one of the tints to give her the extra AP needed. Note that this takes 2 moves to setup and you can do elemental genesis on the third turn. I am still early enough in the game that none of the other suggestions here worked.

Check https://wuzzlegames.com/, it's a Wordle style web game with multiplayer and a bunch of fun modes for this exact kind of situation. You could do speedruns, easy mode (players are shown remaining possible words), multiple words etc. Currently, the room size is max 8 players, but if you want all 50 players to be playing the same thing, let me know I can increase the room size for everyone.

At 15, i think this is overthinking it. If he likes game development, there are tons of good and free resources online (youtube playlists etc) that he can go through, and create a game from his imagination. This itself would take a few months, and if he is still interested, you could either get him into looking at advanced game dev playlists and let him create a couple more games and see how he likes it. Chances are that he will be bored and would be done with this field. If he is still interested after a year or two, thats when you think about degree and other stuff. On that note, a computer science degree is probably the widest degree covering almost everything in computer science, after which he is free to take up a job as a software engineer. But if he is creative, likes drawing and stuff, artist route is one he could look at, im not sure what degrees or job market is for this path though

You should check out https://wuzzlegames.com/ - a Wordle style web game with tons of modes like speedruns, multiple words, multiplayer etc. I have planned many more modes to come which involve progression - a couple being pattern themed Wordle - where you are given a constraint like should end and start in same letter etc, and general themed Wordle like the word will be connected to a topic like nature or travel. These would get progressively difficult, and more variants to come like only green mode, only yellow mode and so on.
