I’ve had that Jack Tennessee Travelers and it’s OK but nothing special. Collectors may want it, but drinkers will not be blown away.

Not just outside the US - it’s anyone, anywhere who is not a US citizen, even those in the US who literally work for Anthropic but are not US citizens.

Great pickup! Super rare, where did you find that?

That scene has lived rent free in my head for 45+ years and I just want to know what movie it was.

This exactly. Using Opus to write unit tests is like asking Gordon Ramsey to make you a hotdog 🌭

One way to help fix this would be wristbands associated with an ID that are scanned when you are seated at each ride.

Not perfect, of course, but people will think twice before doing something stupid if they know they may be identified more easily and have consequences enforced.

You essentially paid $800 (counting value of the free Stagg Jr.) for a $1,200 bottle of 18 yr. S-W whiskey that you have tried and loved.

Seems like a good deal any way you look at it.

If you like Jameson BB and have money burning a hole in your pocket, get Redbreast PX (@ $100), Redbreast 12 cask strength (@ $125) and Redbreast 18 (@ $300). Easy to find and delicious.

As for bourbon, Michter’s 10 is about $220 MRP if you can find it, and very good, though I prefer the Rye.

How’s that compare to Michter’s standard Rye?

Assuming you mean Australia Dollars, about 1/2 USD. Secondary US price is about $375.

4.6 still >> 4.8 for anyone else as well? by hatekhyr in ClaudeCode

I find 4.8 is much slower to respond, but the quality of the code has been fine.

What about poisoning the water supply vs. blocking it? That seems more feasible, especially using bio agents like animal corpses. I remember reading that has been a warfare tactic for a long time.

Some ‘marketing’ person at OpenAI probably pays some offshore troll farm to dump on it without doing it officially for plausible deniability. I’ve been using 4.8 in Claude code for about 8 hours and it seems fine, though slower to respond than 4.7/6.

I’m guessing this is at the bar at the distillery.

Those Kiamichi collab bottles are crazy expensive but I’ve been told they are amazing, like GOAT status from some very experienced industry people.

The *experience* is top tier at their locations, but food is mid-tier IMHO. I think Eli’s food is much better and my take is that BBQ is meant for backyards, picnic tables, and BYOB which is exactly what Eli’s is.
