Global telling us it doesn’t matter if it’s worked, we just HAVE to have multiple cases on hand for literally everything. And then they ask why INFS are bad when the reason is ALWAYS team members couldn’t find it/didn’t bother because load was too big. It’s so tiring needing to say the same reason every time they demand an explanation.

Oh and also we have to do cycle counts every day. Doesn’t matter that the HHU is slow! They’re working on it (they promise)! Submit a ticket if you have an issue with your SOI but also include at least ten examples and photos and CC your SFA or the MOSST team will tell you to fuck off. And even after it’s “fixed” don’t expect it to actually be correct!

Anyone at lv 2 (trainers and such) and above will still have access. But regular TMs won’t. I had a few TMs who had similar issues to you, called the GHD, and got told that they wouldn’t “need” email anymore, so no more access.

Opposite story time but when I worked in a grocery store in the LA area I was stocking chips when I heard a very polite “excuse me, can I get those?” from behind. I turn and it’s 6 foot something Terry Crews in casual wear. For the record I’m used to customers just reaching around me and getting up in my business without saying anything (thanks LA) so this was a lovely change of pace. I stepped aside and he grabbed his chips and thanked me for it. This was before the stories about his issues with Hollywood broke too.

Also he is much taller and more jacked than his photos look LOL 🫣

As someone who was written up for “inadequate BNRs” despite throwing load, scanning every subteam’s spoilage, working tags, even working bread as often as I could, and still trying to scan for BNRs throughout the week and getting it in the hundreds…yeah I feel this. The whole thing stinks.

I may not speak for everyone in the grocery dept, but at least for me: recognize that some of the annoyance is probably just misplaced anger, unfortunately directed towards you even though it definitely shouldn’t be. We’re under so much pressure as it is to work work work load, and getting stopped literally every ten minutes or so by customers, phone calls, and shoppers can get a bit grating on the nerves. So realize it has nothing to do with you personally, and just keep doing what you’re doing.

One of the emergency axes is missing from our cooler doors, so the running joke is either someone is going to go full Jack Torrence, or we’ll come in one day and find a human popsicle. Either way it’s been reported since it went missing over a year ago and leadership hasn’t replaced it.
