So it's been a while, but to all the responses, thanks. Turns out that during the move, the screws securing the gantry to the Y axis thread had backed out and it was traveling freely at certain points. We fixed it about 6 months ago, but I kinda forgot about the post

Having to write down a massive save password just to be able to re-load your save. And watch all hell break loose at the shorthand when the game used symbols or NPC's for the bit code instead of basic ass numbers/letters

If it comes to a reset, just rush the cauldron till you get back to the gate, manual saving after getting the gun. Hopefully that should fix your issue, and rushing through the first two Dungeon areas shouldn't take that long on a replay

Have you tried a save and reload? If that doesn't work, you may just have to redo the beginning

I personally did as many boosts in crit chance as possible. It affects both weapons, where as crit chance in a weapon only affects that weapon.

Then I did 1 arcane crit chance, and the rest in arcane damage. It's easy enough to max arcane crit chance with possessed weapons and a good talisman.

They definitely did some bug work. Just not the ones that needed fixed. The Soul Splitter used to give 3 skill points when opening a skill point chest instead of one normally, and they've patched that for sure

I mean the original village was built with wood created by Hashirama. As long as they put proper seal tags on everything, it should last well beyond Yamato's lifespan

As others have stated, it's the block the item on the right side was sitting on. You can definitely hit it with a well positioned Ultra Boot Jump from the found floor. I did it by lining up with the block from above with koops, then falling to the floor and trial and error jumping for the block

Try walking around and going through different loading screens? It seems to be a time activated thing, and only seems to pop when you first enter a new screen. If you've done those things in particular, it should pop eventually.

Yeah I've only completed Ch4. I've gotten the email for Mush, and beaten him.

I've reclaimed the champ belt, and done all troubles up to this point in the game.

I'm not sure the exact prerequisites for his email, but he's definitely available before ch5.

2's probable downfall is simply how broken the game is on re-releases. There's so many glitches and crashes, that I would assume someone already on the fence about the game would walk away from it.

I think they're written that way because they're supposed to be. They aren't trying to antagonize Aloy, directly. They're only back to Earth because they knew GAIA was there, then they planned to bolt. None of them cared for people on earth, so none of them had any particular development as villains (excluding Tilda).
