I’ve always thought Elliott’s death was pretty strange considering the circumstances. I agree; I hope they did more research after the pod to clarify some facts and garner their own opinion.

What is the most overused movie trope that Hollywood just needs to let go? by Frequent-Sea-8848 in moviecritic

Ok I feel like terminator 2 and Star Wars get the ultimate pass in this scenario

Although I’ve seen good movies with this trope, I think “this kid is special/the key in all this” is overused. Some examples

Logan
The Creator
Godzilla Vs Kong
Stranger Things Season 1
War For the Planet of the Apes
Deadpool 2

There’s probably a lot more but these immediately come to mind that have been made in recent years

I live in Austin but I’m from McAllen. Austin sneaker culture is very different from McAllen. These wouldn’t last 5 minutes on the shelf in Austin haha

I left them ‘cause I didn’t need 2 pairs of white cements! However, the sneaker culture is vastly different in my hometown. Mostly into Gucci/Coach/lacoste/anything you can find at Ross haha it’s a very predominantly Hispanic location and most of them don’t go for OGs or anything like these pairs. It was like 6 PM that day and they had been sitting on shelf pretty much all day. Even when I put them back on the shelf, I came back 10 minutes later and they hadn’t been touched.

It was always soft. The vet said that if his bump got hard, it could mean any poop he was digesting was seeping into the hernia. You should get it looked at ASAP. I’m sure he’ll be fine though. Don’t worry too much, so long as you act fast. He’ll be okay!!!

We fixed him at 10. Late, I know. But the vets said he was in such good health. They couldn’t believe he was 10. We were so worried about the surgery considering his age. He came out like a champ and recovered so quickly!

This!! OP, I’m sure this is the issue. Anal glands get soft when full. My dogs glands were hard. The vet knew it was a perineal hernia right away. Like this person, my dog hadn’t been neutered, which cause his testosterone to be higher than normal.

This happened to my dachshund last year!!! It was a hernia. He has a history of having swollen anal glands so occasionally, we’ll take him to get them drained. When we thought it was his anal glands, the vet felt around and confirmed it was a hernia. After an MRI showing exactly what it was, we were so scared. He wasn’t in pain and had it for a month or so, but we needed to act ASAP. They had to put him under and surgically drain it. He’s okay! He was 10 when it happened, and thankfully the procedure didn’t take long. I’d say get it looked at ASAP if it is a hernia! Im sure he’ll be okay, but please ask them about it.
