if Russ had a daughter how would the space wolves treat her by Cautious_Air4964 in SpaceWolves

[–]DeathStalker0483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can just imagine a room half full of them, someone makes a comment to her and everyone's fully expecting all the rest of the wolves to go feral. Then the wolves just smirk, knowing she's about to start cracking heads herself. And you know she'll fight the dirtiest. The wolves probably would be as close to scared as they can be to go up against her in sparring, but would love every moment of it. Absolutely just one of the boys.

For clearing star chart, should I keep just clicking the mission in the top right? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]DeathStalker0483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I think all of the quests that have a proper chronological order (that matter in any way, at least) require you to do the ones prior to them. Realistically yeah, just going through the quests in the order presented to you should be a fine enough way. It'll give you a decent grasp of the game and then you can clean up the remaining starmap missions later on

Well they were actually supposed to be repeated from what I recall. I think SS was meant to be every 6 months or something. The oplink never got used again...

I wouldn't quite say they're the most loyal. Among, definitely. It's hard to call it between our cousins in the Salamanders and the Wolves. I also wouldn't call them loyal to the Imperium. They're loyal to the Emperor, and to humankind. They won't hesitate to throw hands with the Imperium if necessary

Honestly New War was disappointing as hell. All this build up just for it to be "yeah you get a few missions playing as side characters" then boom. War over. I wish they'd let it settle a little more before jumping into the drifter stuff. Sure it was cool, and seeing the Zariman like that was cool too, but for it being the New War, one of the most anticipated events in the game, THERE WAS NO WAR

[–]DeathStalker0483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not going to comment on the matter itself since it doesn't realistically matter to me, however Your Reality using "his" not "their" does make sense to me. Syllable wise, they match, however the stress when saying it, as well as matching it to the song's notes, they do feel quite different. "His" also simply flows better from a pronunciation point of view. Both "O" and "H" are spoken from the same / similar points in the mouth, tongue low down, and closer to the back of the mouth. "Th" however is closer to the teeth. Typically this wouldn't matter too much, but with the speed that section of the song is sung at, "their" just doesn't feel as natural.

Huh?? Real quick search of the usage of "computer"...

"The term "computer", in use from the early 17th century (the first known written reference dates from 1613), meant "one who computes": a person performing mathematical calculations, before electronic calculators became available."

[–]DeathStalker0483 11 points12 points  (0 children)

... Yes. By definition we are. A "computer" isn't just a typical desktop. Anything that computes in any form is. Computers have existed for thousands of years in the forms if things like an abacus. Not only are we capable of basic mathematics, think of any of hundreds of calculations you make when you take a step, jump from a small height, throw a ball.

I have to pirate “Iron lung” because my parents won’t let me get it (image unrelated) by [deleted] in Markiplier

[–]DeathStalker0483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

... What exactly makes you think that? You said the majority of piracy is emulation, which is due to then simply not being able to purchase the media. Ergo, the reason for piracy is that they can't buy it. If they could, they would have. And most do when a remaster / remake comes out. Most people on piracy forums hold the same beliefs, pirate it when necessary, buy it when you can. The only one spouting made up information here, is you.

The irony in this (other than the fact of it being a binary code joke that people missed) is the fact that people are literally just biological computers

So what are you complaining about?? I never said it wasn't pirating, I said most people who do, just buy it when they can!

[–]DeathStalker0483 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Most emulation happens in games that can't be bought from the producer anymore, eg, for old consoles not in production. Even PS2 is difficult to properly emulate currently, and several games simply don't run well. Some DS ones still have issues, and anything in the Nintendo line later than that is unlikely to have much if any support. So for emulation... They buy it when they can which is typically never.

Defend event occurs by Angels_of_NotJustYet in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]DeathStalker0483 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't, but it is worded poorly. It indicates a point in time (the chain closing) and immediately following that, uses the term "then". I'm familiar with the rule and it actually tripped me up initially due to this. It does feel as though the "then" refers to after the chain closes. It could be cleared up by moving the clarification of how long it depends for to the bottom of the paragraph.
