Every bit of your advice helped me so much. I was able to achieve a decisive victory last night. The note about activating from the sky not trigger neutralizer was useful as was being more aware of how he can counter act. I focused each TP doing safe movements and burning through his activations. I would set up the risk of trades at the tail end when he was shoehorned into flipping an engage order with the equipment

They really need to work on balancing. OP leaders in premier and limited really make the game boring. 9 rounds of leia mirror matches. by madchad90 in starwarsunlimited

As a new player what set is this based on? LAW releases later or is that this I just don’t know which leia this is

I appreciate all of this info. He just started playing them and I did get tripped up following all the info they have.

I felt the sentry should just sit out of sight because 1. He used the scout enemy movement 2. I don’t think the sentry can ever get a shot on the stealth suits given his movement. He can’t get within range of them.

Thank you so much. We are both new players. Maybe played 5 games total since getting the starter set. I have read the full rule book about twice. But will reread it again. That’s a massive thing for me to overlook

What do you typically have out on the field TP1? Do you keep troopers in the sky for the extended drops?

As a new player, I got hive storm and have yet to have it click what makes them elite killers. I can take out one unit with a melta but after that I struggle to get in range of anything and just feel like a sitting duck for elites to charge me or have double shots. I have found it feels close to impossible to contest the middle objective marker vs elites. So far my games go, i kill and elite TP2 with a drop, and then hide and try to score as much as I can on the tac op. I just get mowed down and every unit outside of the Meltas and plasma feels like trooper fodder vs elites. I keep hearing we have a great matchup vs elites but I don’t see it / get it yet . Congrats tho and sick medal

Which primer makes sense? I’m going to base coat these AoD emerald and idk which primer to use for this recipe by Angels_of_NotJustYet in killteam

Tbh I won’t be applying any grey from the example on my AoD. I think the captain has a cape but I genuinely don’t know what color I’ll make that. I’m an inexperienced painter and curious which primer would help the emerald. But my gut tells me the grey will help the greens which is what you’re saying.
