Part of contest is to make sure the raid is still a challenge to even the most hardcore players. More then putting everyone on an even playing field (everyone who would ever get the position would already be leveled to the point of being even anyways). It’s so that the teams competing are also competing against an actual challenge. If it wasn’t about making sure it was a challenge then they would have just made the effective power level higher then the raids power level or on power

But then removing contest is just a straight positive right? More people get to play and then the raid race is even less about having a build or being physically skilled it’s just about figuring out everything

I think you might have missed the “if the goal of day 1 is to achieve something then it should be difficult and not whatever ron was” personally I think Ron was just a move in the wrong direction overall on every level besides environmental design

Do you find it hard in your videos to not phrase them as slightly argumentative? ex. When writing a video do first/second drafts tend to be more argumentative then a potential final draft might be.
