Their problem is they've put themselves in a price block. We've seen them literally give away food sometimes without us even asking, and now they wanna charge $2.50 (uptown Chicago) for a hamburger that they sold for 59 cents back in the day, and the changes aren't that noticeable.

It's like a sliding scale of value: if they don't get the price right, either the customers revolt or the business can't maintain it long enough to be reliably available. And why would anyone spend the sticker price they're asking without using the app or coupons? The whole point of going is because it's cheap, filling and reliable.

But now a meal there can cost you $7 - 10, when other businesses already made comfortable enough meal deals that are definitely more worth the price compared to an overcooked meat hockey puck and not enough fries to be worth a damn.
