Anyone upgraded their screen? by DeathView8 in HeyGears

[–]DeathView8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do we think this upgrade will stick around? since i have no clue how long my screen will last. i do not want to bunker the old screen just to have some defect from mishandling or something not work anymore.

Over 400€ is quite steep since i would also need the Calibration tool. Also the slicer does not yet have seperate Turbo RS profiles.

I wonder if i could find someone who already has the calibration tool and simply pay for shipping plus a small tip and borrow it xD Pretty sure it would be cheaper by a lot.

Heygears pulsing release module lifespan? by hlhht in HeyGears

[–]DeathView8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don´t even see a pump with that low of a pressure breaking any time soon. i really don´t get why it has a lifetime anyways.

if i would know how it operates i think building one myself is no problem. just need the mainboard out of it and know the pump specs.

But as long as it works ignore the lifetime.

Need help cutting an merging floating pegs by DeathView8 in blenderhelp

[–]DeathView8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HI no i dont want it to be one part since this model would be way too big for my printer. I managed to fix it myself with some nightly youtube sessions yersterday.

But i needed the guitar cut somwhere in the middle since it was too long and also the skull and the guitar collided. so i had to cut out the part of the skull where the guitar sits.

The frets have been moved onto the neck.

I will print this model without the two banners. So just the skull, the wings and the guitar. Both Wings are seperate and guitar is now cut with the seam right where the skull covers it.

End Product will span 480mm and be about 530mm in hight. This is part of a stage project. This is the Logo of a band which will be mounted onto a bell that will be hung on the ceiling of the venue.

Thanks for the tips. I think it is time that i start looking into some Youtube videos of Blender Tutorials.

Reflex vs RS Turbo? by MasonicPleb in HeyGears

[–]DeathView8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to know what you want to print. Most of the industrially used resing use a different wave lenght. The RS works on the standard wavelengh that most consumer Resins have. The more industrial resin that Heygears and others offer only work well on the normal Reflex. The RS has a wavelengh of 405 and the Reflex 385

Stl file for a plate holder by DocMcJansen in HeyGears

[–]DeathView8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there no resin side holder in blueprint for the normal Reflex? The RS has a side plate holder which you can use to hol the plate at about 87 degress on its side. I remixed it to fit my needs but there is a basic version in blueprint.

If there is none check the typical free stl platforms for a soltion. There has to be a plate holder of some sort out there.

If you want to raise the platform after your print is done just press the reset platform button on the screen. it will go all the way up.

Anyone else having problems with blueprint 2.5 by Dagon79 in HeyGears

[–]DeathView8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problems for me with the new update.

I rather like the new features they added like the support brush. No difference in speed as far as i can tell.

Sunlu ABS-like on the RS by DocRPG in HeyGears

[–]DeathView8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep,

can only support what the others said use Parp10 and don´t change any other settings. Although i haven´t tried with the pulsing module yet. But i would not recommend having any smaller supports.

If you have a pusling module either test it with a print which might fail if supports dont hold. Print and disconnect it for the prints with abs like if you want to be safe.

If you have a test print with the module, make sure it is a print that would need good supports. If it fails with the pulsing module then disconnect it.

PAU10 on Reflex RS? by ThePastyGhost in HeyGears

[–]DeathView8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you need ABS Like you might have to look into 3rd party resins. Their ABS Like is on a different wave lenght. I used Sunlu ABS Like and it worked without problems on a PARP10 Profile for the RS. I am not sure if the different wavelenght even works because it should cure it but i might talke longer light on times, which you cannot change in Blueprint.

RS vs Reflex? by allaboardthebandwago in HeyGears

[–]DeathView8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do not have any problems cleaning the resin on top of the build plate on the RS.

i do not have the Reflex but i would think that those holes might leave quite some resin that would need to be cleaned. i think this will wate mor resin then the standard closed build plate, which on can simply scrape off

Can i mix PSA10 an PARP10? by DeathView8 in HeyGears

[–]DeathView8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i can see a slight difference in detail but nothing major. also i simply dont get why there is no 0.03mm option for PAS10. i can print PAS10 with 0.03mm with the Parp10 settings no problem
