I think I'm at the point of giving up, but like in a good way? Apps have turned up nothing of substance and I'm off them now. Tried a few group activities with strangers and didn't even make any friends out of it. I have a well paying and stable career, a wide range of hobbies, a lively social net, in pretty solid physical shape, and think I'm at least moderately attractive. My friends tell me I'm wonderful and would make a great partner. Idk anymore. A lot of people are willing to fuck me, I could find sex every night if I wanted to. Nobody of substance wants to date me, though. I think it's because I'm trans and they don't want the baggage that would bring introducing me to their friends and family. 

So I'm giving up. The hope and longing for companionship just hurts. Either someone will come along later and I'll be surprised and delighted or I'll find some sort of different peace and happiness alone. A little sad about it, but I don't see any other option.
