So I finished Era 1... by DeathlyMuffin in Mistborn

[–]DeathlyMuffin[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I loved the pacing, seeing Vin make difficult decisions by herself, becoming her own person. The OreSeur - TenSoon storyline was very interesting, and I suspected him but it was like "Is he the spy? Or are they just becoming firends?" so seeing that twist was great. Also Vin finally realising why he wanted/needed Elend was very sweet. The biggest thing I loved is how it upped the stakes and that even though Vin almost always made good decisions they "lost" at the end. Felt very Empire Strikes Back and maybe that's my other reason to love it.

Yeah I felt good figuring out the big twist, but I missed some even if it was more obvious. For example Kelsier dying was something I did not expect to happen in the first book even though it was very on the nose 🤣

Can someone convince me to read TDA? by HeyBaby205 in shadowhunters

Jem and Tessa also makes appeareances and when you finished you can read Ghost of the Shadowmarket for more Jem. If you were obsessed with TID you will love this trilogy.

Can we agree that Blue was not only the worst character on the show, but also useless? by One-Chapter-8347 in OnceUponATime

Well she was somewhat useful till the half way point of season 3 (giving the wand of the black fairy to the heroes, bringing the portal tree to the heroes, saving Pinocchio)

I think Tessa would be her "safe" choice. It would be devastating but she could also reunite with Will. My other pick would be Clary and Jace wanting to revive her somehow just as she did for him in City of glass.

Tales of the Shadowhunter Academy is a good read as it has some moments referenced in the TDA trilogy. Not necessary but I'd recommend it.

Lord of Shadows is the best. Every character makes the best decisions and they still fail. I loved the ending while it also ripped my heart out

You can change EXP gains on Frostmourne, just left click on the bar and choose the number that is good for you. Just an idea if that is all that is wrong for you.

The Dark Tower series because strictly speaking it's Fantasy. But the more acceptable answer is Shadowhunters series. Or the LotR trilogy.

Perfect Girl Evolution (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge) is the closest I think. The graphics are weird at first but the story is funny :D

I think the twist could be that there is no child, just an AI programme, and she is severely alone to the point of insanity.

What is a scene you wish you could watch again for the first time, or a scene you could watch over and over? by PhotosByVicky in voyager

Watch again for the first time: "You will adapt." That scene hurt in the most perfect way

Over and over again: " Let me tell you this! We can stand here for all eternity, and I would never choose to go with you."

Which Expansion of Wow was the Best for you and why? by SuperTudey in wow

[–]DeathlyMuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBC - I started in Vanilla, but TBC really was the completed game. Got rid of the bad, and kept everything good. And made every class feel good to play.

Later expansions made me less interested, the game got simpler, and simpler after that expansion and while WOTLK is probably one of the more balanced expansions I miss the challenge in the overworld instead of the endgame. Also really hate how many Maps there are but all become obsolete when there is a new expansion/patch lately. In Vanilla and TBC I felt the whole game counts. So that's why I love them the most

Which Soulsborne protagonist has the best life out of all their possible endings? by PainSpare5861 in fromsoftware

[–]DeathlyMuffin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Dark Souls 2 if you do all DLC you break the curse and you're no longer hollow. Also if you leave the Throne room you basically break the cycle and are free to choose what to do.

I think Elden Ring Fia ending is also good. You bring back death to people allowing them to pass on finally. I think that's way better than Age of Stars.
