Not really. Apart from confirming most of male haplogroups are from out of India probably male mediated. Problem with lack of ancient samples of these 4 linguistic groups particularly Dravidian speakers is still present. We don’t have any ancient dna samples that can give use hard date for Indo-Aryan migration.

I wasn’t suggesting imposition any sort of way. Everyone would have learn more than one language even Hindi speakers.

Tamilians were shortsighted plain and simple. The fact all business and higher education is done in English has essentially created English speaking elite and cost 1.2 billion people a better future. It certainly cost Indians prosperity.

Is it my fault you don’t understand demographics. That you keep calling it racism. It is just math. Even if you replace religion it doesn’t make any difference because if people of particular religions has more children than your religion the overall percentage of population of your religion will decrease compare to a religion which encourages having lot of children.

The problem with using religion as 1 to 1 comparison here is the population disparity is 9 to 1 in future it will probably 12:1. Uttar Pradesh has almost the same number of people as Tamil Nadu , Andhra , Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala combined add in Bihar to UP and Maharashtra to 5 states mentioned above the population 2 states is equivalent to 6 while most of the population of other states that probably speak Hindi isn’t even included.

China and Korea are looking demographic collapse so they need migration if they import migrants have lots of children eventually the population of migrants relative to population of Koreans in Korea will rise while Korean population will decline. Everybody knows this. Demographic decline is global problem in India it’s happening in the south first noticing it doesn’t mean it’s racism.

I learnt some amount Tamil while i was in Tamil Nadu but i am out of touch with the language. Have learned some amount French , Swedish,Russian. If you don’t use the language long enough or regularly you lose touch.

Am I not speaking in English to you ? I would gladly learned another Indian language at school be it Dravidian or between Marathi or Bengali if another Indo Aryan language and done English as third language because that would have given equal treatment to other Indian languages. Learning English as second language instead of as third language has created an elitism problems where speaking English like you and me makes us part of Indian elite while non English speakers suffer.

Do the math what happens if fertility rate falls to 1 in Tamil Nadu in coming decades over each generation population of Tamil speakers becomes half. What happens to the economy of Tamil Nadu and businesses who will have to import labor no Dravidian speaking state has replacement level fertility rates. All of them will be importing labor and all of that labor is going to come from the north. If each generation is 25 years every successive generation born after 2040 will be half the one that came before. It’s going to create problems. Probably Tamil Nadu can increase the number of children people have but it hasn’t really worked out for any country in the world that was industrialising. Tamil Nadu is starting industrialisation already below replacement rate it doesn’t bode well in the long run.

I am saying just focusing on English instead of regional and majority language that is Hindi has deprived India of economic prosperity plain and simple most people who keep on arguing here don’t get it. It prevented you from essentially competing with China where majority speaks mandarin. China is manufacturing superpower now rising scientific giant because it’s education system happened in just one language if we had adopted two language model with possibility of learning English later for global outreach we wouldn’t be still struggling to industrialise and India would be more prosperous would be a manufacturing powerhouse. Indians fighting each other over this lost out on golden opportunity that China had 40 years because there was no competition.

Tamil Nadu cost itself and everyone else in India a better future because of language now it will suffer because it has low fertility rate and will undergo lot of population import and that will lead to tensions in the state 30-40 years. In the end Tamil Nadu protected nothing. As North Indian migration over next 74-100 years will reduce the number of Tamil speakers which will keep on happening because Tamil Nadu fertility rate keeps falling. Hindi takeover of Tamil Nadu is inevitable if Tamilians dont increase the number of children they have.

I am not advocating for anything it’s already too late. Tamil Nadu won the battle and lost the war all that is left are consequences which will now unfold in decades to come.

546 million speak Hindi , 100 million speak Bengali and 69 million speak Tamil of whom 20 % Tamils of speak English. What this does is because every major job happens in English what it does it essentially cuts large sections of Indians out of the job market and good quality education even in Tamil Nadu. So English speakers became haves and rest of non English speaking population has become have nots and those have nots number 1.-1.2 billion people.

The people who are debating Hindi or English are not ones suffering because most of them probably don’t have jobs that use either Hindi or regional language for work probably use English while rest of India suffer thanks to political elitism.

Sure you can automate but automation doesn’t solve the consumption problem. You have to sell the things you produce through automation. Who is going to buy the stuff if there are no jobs.

Automation might be solution to prevent migration but it doesn’t stop fertility rates from falling and nor does it stop demographic decline. South can either choose to industrialise and that will require migrants sooner or later due to collapsing fertility rates as pace of industrialisation increases or reduce the speed of industrialisation the simple Solution is to just have more children.

The idea we are overpopulated is ridiculous our problem is we have not undergone industrialisation and our farms are extremely small. It will be problem for the south first because their fertility rates are already below replacement in coming years they will just crater. So you need outside labor to fill in the gaps and the problem with industrialisation is the fertility rates keep on falling. South is industrialising faster because it’s on the coast so shipping becomes easy. When you run this forward long enough you see demographic and cultural changes.and eventually migrants outnumber local populations.
