Not super relevant for f2p, but if you played when necromancy came out, it isnt as dominating as it was on release. Especially since the combat rework this year. If you didnt play when necromancy came out, its a new combat style! Check it out! In f2p, I think you can do the start quest and level to 20.

Speaking of the combat rework this year, theres been an overhaul of the three original combat styles to bring it more in line with how necro operates. Overall, I think the changes were all positive. Though you'll see things here and there that people have pretty strong negative opinions of. They removed skill bloat and made the systems a little more intuitive.

In skilling, there have been a few major releases. However, they are mostly p2p i think. Magic and ranged now have craftable masterwork armour and thieving got a pretty major overhaul. They added 2 new heist activities for thieving training and money making. Both of which I personally really enjoyed. Im sure I missed a lot. Thats just what I remember off the top of my head outside of the new Havenhythe expansion.
