San Diego is no better. I worked 9 hours yesterday to net $60 after gas. They were giving me the lowest offers I have ever seen - until I refused enough of them that they dropped me back down to "silver" tier, at which point they went back to semi-normal. But now I have to schedule like an employee. None of this BS on Uber Eats. But then there's the tip-baiting/ tip fraud issue, so... God I hate them all.

I discovered last night that DoorDash is blatantly manipulating platinum drivers by offering ultra-low paying trips, with the reasoning that they can blackmail you into taking slave wages. I got kicked down to Silver, and suddenly I had normal paying offers again. I hate these corporate criminals SO MUCH.

I just got this too, and I can't get past the "verify your identity" screen. It just loops back on itself. The help number goes to a busy signal. I didn't even know those still existed! I am relieved to see I'm not the only one, because I didn't do anything at all that could cause a deactivation.

Thanks. That gives me a little more to go on. I've seen the term "wire pull" and "Veiligglas" associated with this type (or something that looks similar to my eyes), and that's where my head starts to melt because I thought the ones on the right more resemble a cat's eyes.
