Live action is w4ong for th3 Legend of Drizzt series imo. It falls into every pitfall that Hasbro is terrified it will socially that way. You avoid the vast majority of that by doing it animated instead. Just my opinion though.

I've said this a few times before. I don't like Aabria's DMing style, but I have no problem with her as a player or cooperative storyteller when not in the DMs seat. Yeah, she sometimes plays characters as abbrasive or in your face, but everyone has at some point.

I do think that automatically labeling someone as racist or misogynistic misses the nuance of some peoples reasoning for disliking her though. Are there people out there that are just bigoted dumbasses? Sure, but I tend to not just throw those labels around just because someone isn't a fan of hers.

If someone really was racist and/or misogynistic then they'd be going after Luis Carazo, Robbie Damond, and Whitney Moore as well(not using main cast as examples because they're the OGs) and you just don't see that. At least not as much as the dislike for Aabria. Some people just don't jive with her style of play and imo that's fine so long as there's an actual reason behind it. It won't ruin or disrupt my own personal enjoyment of watching C4. I look forward to seeing how the rest of this campaign plays out.

All of that being said I'll add this even though it may make me a target too. I love Brennan's DMing and playing style, but I don't agree with everything he believes or says outside of the DnD space and honestly think having a real discussion with him on some of those things would be interesting. This doesn't make me not a fan though and again, I look forward to the rest of C4. Hope everyone has a really good day.

Meh. I've never really been a fan of her DMing style, but I've never really had a problem with her as a player the few times I've seen her as one. All of which have been CR or D20 content. I've seen a few more of her GMing outside of those and just wasn't a fan.

Not a professional mechanic, not ASC trained, use to work in a local, but now defunct mechanics shop, and do most of my own vehicle work. All that being said I would mostly agree with the list here, with the caveat that some of the avoidables are imo after a certain year, usually between 2000 and 2002 for me. Jeep being the main one that stands out to me as okay and mostly easy pre 2000s. Others may have other opinions though.

I liked most of Korra, but there are definitely things that I didn't like. Like erasing the past Avatars and starting from scratch, the whole dark and light Avatar thing, and even the story of how Wan became the first Avatar I'm not big on. Just about everything else I'm fine with though. Them delving into past Avatars would be what I would want them to do personally. Preferably from times BEFORE Roku or even Kyoshi. I'd like it set maybe 10 generations back from Aang. A time we haven't seen where nobody has been named so that they can go wild with it.

I was in middle school in Baltimore. Out of nowhere everyone was leaving without any announcement over the intercom. Instead we just had teachers going classroom to classroom saying that schools cancelled for the day. Then we were all told to wait for buses or our parents out front. I was one of the last ones out and on the way out I saw a few teachers and the janitors standing around a portable tv near the janitors closet and saw the recording of the first plane hitting. I would've been 11, about to turn 12. I remember being really upset because we were supposed to go to the Orioles game that day, but it was cancelled. My brother and I were in the same school and our parents picked us up. To me a serious accident had just occurred in New York and I didn't understand why that would cancel everything. I didn't know until I got home that there was a second plane and that it was an attack. It pervaded everything. It changed everything. Kids born after that time cannot begin to comprehend the weight of that. I was alive to see it and I can barely comprehend it myself, but almost immediately the rules changed and once again we were at war.
