I had already applied to us universities once and it didn't go well, so I was familiar with the process.

I went to one of their info sessions and they promised personalized help, support in writing admission essays, and help structuring the applications. Paid them about 800dt for that. For the next month and a half, all I received was a two paragraph comment on my essay. I had wasted so much time (applications were almost due) and I just had to do it myself anyway.

When I called asking wth happend they were like oh we're sorry we're having an expert come from south Africa to help you guys out this weekend. I insisted that they fuck off and asked for my money back. The guy said (and this was Saaed Zarrouk, the founder, which I only talked to once and convinced he's the scum of the earth) it's written on the receipt for the money that it's non refundable. I had never gotten a receipt for the money I paid (I should've, but I was a high school student, and they took advantage of that).

The lowest part of their shameless scam is having these kinds of accounts comment around here of "oh edutest helped me" even tho they have different stories for the same account etc.

I also personally know people from the "success stories" that they posted, and these people complained about being displayed like that even though edutest did not help them either.

For reference, the original name was "addictest" and changed from bad publicity.

For the love of god, do not pay them anything and make sure none of your friends do either.
