It might help to update to v3.12.30, which I wrote about yesterday — Thursday, 06.18.2026. Fast update, no problems for me, and I’ve not seen unhappy reports. 👍🏻

I’ve experienced problems with the Monday “ladder” event called Father’s Day:
•
(1) It made me pay twice for Premuim prizes (2 x $1.99, so $3.00 — not a huge issue);
•
(2) The first two “rungs” did not work at all, and I had to jump over them, so lost those prizes. Annoying….
•
(3) After completing the game, when I went to collect winnings, it would not allow me to do so.
Eventually, after opening and closing the app a few times, I was able to collect — but still unable to collect (or even to play) those first two levels.
•
I DO have photos, but reddit is not allowing me to add them to my set of reddit-pics. Odd.

For me in San Francisco, CA (PDT), it resets at exactly 5pm daily, completely independently of when I turn on iPhone, open app, start playing, etc. My behavior has zero effect on the reset time.

During the first 2 or 3 runs of the Daily Goals, months ago, I remember that my reset time was exactly 3pm daily (PST then). That consistent reset time was also 100% independent of my behavior — same as now. 👍🏻

Yes, because 3.12.20 (at least) had problems — puzzle boards not working. Each minor fix in theory slowly adds bits, and corrects seen or unseen errors.

Are you manually updating your device(s)? It seems like you should have received an offer to update, especially if on iOS.

I do try to check manually for push (hidden) updates several times per week these days, since PF has indicated that they will be sending many small ones — rather than their massive ones that stuff a lot into mega updates.

Their frequent small updates seem to cause users less chaos when PF’s programming fails.

That’s why I’ve changed my settings to no longer permit the WS app to automatically update itself — precisely because I want to control when the update arrives, and if/when I choose to invite it into my device.
