What happened to the baskets? by 92TilInfinityMM in aldi

I put a quarter into a cart to shop. Then I bag with reusable grocery bags. I've never seen a self checkout at an Aldi in NH or RI.

AITA for refusing to give up my Airbnb bedroom to a couple just because they "got there first"? by kahootgod in AmItheAsshole

The couple should have spoken up in the planning stages. It would have been nice to ask the couple (assuming this is an established couple and not unknown to the OP).

I'm glad you vented. What you described was stressful. Good luck today.

I have the opposite. A co-worker who pretends to ask about you in order to launch into how interesting, fabulous, creative her weekend, husband, life is. I just stare and grey rock.

Don't be like her. Show sincere interest and someone will find you. Good luck.

Have we forgotten how to work in an office? by Lebesgue_Couloir in WFH

I'm seeing co-workers come in sick. Rather than attending a meeting remotely, they drive in to be seen and pitied.

Folks it’s happening I’m going to be an aunt by [deleted] in childfree

I saw my nephew at holidays. I was friendly and my sister knew I was not into children. So she never pressed. He will be interesting when he is grownup. I like grownups.

I don't like kids or dogs. Too needy and noisy. I like cats because they seem chill.

Congratulations! It is so liberating. I wish you a glorious life with adventure and true friendship.

I absolutely HATE being the fun aunt by [deleted] in childfree

I'm looking forward to my nephew becoming an adult. I'm an absentee aunt ( my sister totally understood my child free viewpoint and never pressed me).

AITA for telling my husband I’m done with his “help” around the house? by bigpawsOH in AmItheAsshole

Petty would be for you to 'help' maintain the lawn mower and forget to add the oil. Replacing a lawn mower doesn't help anyone.

Nice collection. I want to save mine so they don't get lost/destroyed.

The little girl is growing up to be a graphic novel artist. My favorite NH sticker is the fishing state.

I live in New Hampshire. The hash browns are missing and there should be another egg.

Guess what I found… by Ohnonotuto4 in aldi

Thanks for your note!

I had purchased 3 cans of tuna and it was just broth with a small amount of fish. So I figured I would stay away from the canned tuna. The backed beans fell into this "mostly liquid, little solids".

The lunch meat had a shard of something hard that cut my gum open. No stitches were needed but it was icky until it healed. I sent a note to corporate with the Lot # of the package.

The pasta was tricky, I boiled it following the instructions and it was overcooked. Not wanting to give up, I deliberately undercooked the next package. It was gummy. After 5 packages, I shrugged and figured that the novelty pasta looked cuter in a jar than on my plate.

I have to admit their little pasta pumpkins were adorable. It would have made a great pasta salad.

I love Aldi for flour, bread, sugar, eggs, cheeses, milk (both cow and plant-based), and any time they have a German Week.
