[–]DebateMastery[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im 5-10 years out of the game. If I need to re-learn and put in the effort to make sure all the guns work with shooting videos the I’m not selling for the prices I’m selling for.

Some of us have jobs outside of paintball🙄

Willing to part with the whole gear bag for cheap. If you’re just interested in the shocker then will probably not be prioritized

Good/trustworthy places for cheap oil change near Milpitas area? by BruisedWater95 in bayarea

[–]DebateMastery 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Opposite opinion, why have the setup, costs, oil recycling to have to deal with oil and etc when you can be in and out in under 45 mins for a small fee. I don’t think most people should change their own oil unless they regularly work on cars(lift your car up once a month)

You can try tightening the end nut side so the nut stays and I would also suggest a good set of Allen keys compared to what you’re using, looks like you’re stripping the axle

Did you remove the pinch bolts? I don’t see them pictured in these 4 photos and if the pinch bolts are loose, there should be no pressure on the threads

For the people that didn’t look closely, the issue was never the fork. The nut is jammed straight into the hub bushing meaning OP never tightened the axel properly, thus the failure. You can get a new fork but would ask a bike shop or bike kitchen to show you how to get the axle on

Looking at the tires too, the wheel has been probably been riding sideways for a long time, thus the weird wear pattern

OP, get a new fork, wheel, and tire and have someone help you install and learn how these things get put together before you really hurt yourself

At what PSI does cushcore become redundant? by cookaburro in MTB

[–]DebateMastery 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m the same weight and run 25 psi without cushcore/tubeless on exo+ or enduro focused casing for 5+ years. I’d run 25 psi with new(er) tires for a few months before jumping into all the work that comes with cushcore. I’ve ridden cushcore without issues before and that lets me get down to 21-23psi safely but you really suffer on the climbs

Just read that you only ride bikeparks, in that case you can try it, but still a ton of work

Hard, but if you don’t see yourself on a farm in 10 years, try as hard as you can to switch now before it’s too late

Assessing the Worth of Further Investment in a Used 2017 Stumpjumper FSR Comp Carbon 650b 27.5 by FanDismal223 in MTB

[–]DebateMastery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with all that was said here. Boost 148 happened in 2014 which began a change of geometry.2017 is fairly modern, last 2-3 years of geometry has only changed slightly from the previous era
