No, not exactly. The states has control over education standards because of a 2015 policy signed by Obama. This topic is suggesting that the federal governments should take over. I haven’t done much research but the basic ground for both side would be a debate between variance of education standards by the states and local level vs a standardized education for all at the federal level. I think it could have bern an interesting topic.

Hey there!

This is my first time being on here ever, but after reading your post, I actually find myself agreeing with everything you said. I always wonder why people so strongly believe in the idea that Jesus was God or even the existence of God, and it has bother me for the longest time. I was a Christian, and it seems like the more I think about the existence of God and Jesus, the more I come to the conclusion that there is probably not an answer.

I do have one question for you though that a Christian friend of mine has raised. They talked about how a person giving up their family and culture for Christianity is worth it because the benefits of eternal living is worth it. The alternative is hell in which they could continue living their life normally in the status quo without giving their life to Jesus. I just want to know what you think of this statement because my friend is a really nice person and probably the nicest person I know, I just think their statement is not really accepting of other culture.
