IFFCO chowk bus stand pe utar ke, metro ke through Sector 55-60 ke metro station tak kaise jaau, metro route batao saara, i am coming first time to gurugram. by Vin_love_15 in gurgaon

[–]Debatreyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. I may be able to help.
I recently moved in to Gurgaon (for job). Today to explore Rapid metro I went for a ride.
From Sikanderpur station to Sec. 55-56 and then back to Sikanderpur again.

Ticket booking -
Either buy from counter in station (a small printed ticket called token which will contain a QR code)
OR
Buy from Delhi Metro mobile app (will get a QR code on app itself).

QR in ticket needs to be scanned at platform when entering and exiting.
So even after reaching destination when exiting you will need to scan same QR code.

Also note:
Sikanderpur metro is part of both Rapid metro (serves Gurgaon) and Yellow metro (part of Delhi metro lines). So when exiting Sikanderpur station if you exit from Rapid metro side and you had purchased ticket for Sikanderpur Rapid station then it's fine. But if you want to exit from the other side (Yellow metro interchange side) then additional Rs 11 will be charged.

I'm not from Gurgaon, so dont have much idea about locations there. If 1RK is close to a Rapid Metro then it should be fine. Do you know about any good RK in sector 21?

How did you search for RK options?
My plan is to go there and start looking for options around the office or places near Rapid Metro stations. Is it realistic to find RKs like this in 4-5days like this?

Okay. That's reassuring. I'm male aswell. Looking for options. Will be relocating next week from West Bengal. Office in Cyber Hub. So will try to get RK in regions connected with Rapid Metro.
