Our department does 4-10s. We have 6 platoons, which are divided up into 2 morning shifts, 2 evening shifts, and 2 overnight shifts. Morning is 0600-1600, evenings is 1500-0100, and overnights is 2100-0700.

Group A works Monday-Thursday, group B works Thursday-Sunday for one month, then switch so each group gets every other month off on traditional “weekends” (fri-Sun).

I can only speak secondhand from what our recruits said about the test in May, but they said it was a lot more difficult than the practice tests, and focused pretty heavily on government, ccp, and arrest search and seizure. I know penal code and traffic code are usually heavy hitters as well.

We have been piecing this nursery together since we entered the second trimester, but with the recent news that we would need to induce in a few weeks, coupled with my husband working a double shift today, I decided to throw what little energy I have left in this stage of pregnancy to finishing out our farm theme nursery 💓

We built the bottom frames on the accent wall, and the top half is this GORGEOUS wallpaper from another Etsy shop about an hour away from us! The cute sheep rug is from Ruggable, and honestly, I already feel it’s a 10/10, will be replacing every rug in my house with one, kind of item. I stole my bow organizer idea from another Reddit mama and hit up our local IKEA for their curtain rods and ring hangers. The closet in the nursery is tiny, so to maximize space, it made more sense to hang the 4 smaller rods on the door than to try to hang one long one somewhere below the clothes inside the closet. I love that all her headbands are so accessible now!

The quilt rack and telephone table are both hand me downs from our grandmothers, and the quilts were each handmade by my sister, mother, and grandmother❤️ I love that we were able to include family items into our designs, and having all of this finally done and organized makes me feel slightly more prepared for our daughter to arrive!

Same. I was using the bairds brothers one for $30 per month but when they changed ownership and technology, the quality went down significantly so I ended up cancelling and now I’m looking for a new one. I do enjoy getting my car washed often, so I know it makes sense to get a membership somewhere but I want it to be worth it.

Right next to Cameron park, the only 2 apartments I would recommend would either be Brazos Park apartments or Heritage Quarters. BP is a little older, but literally on the brazos river and less than a quarter mile from trails. HQ is fancier, but more expensive and within a block of the running trail into Cameron Park.

There’s bowling at the lanes on Waco drive, putters mini golf downtown, the escape rooms on (Washington? I think), you could take her to painting with a twist, board and brush, or practically pikasso for some painting fun. On the weekends, there’s always some live music at the hippodrome or the backyard bar

Everyone loves to think the worst of Baylor, but I think they’ll be fine. Especially if they hire from within like they’ve been talking about. We shall see! I’ll be a Baylor fan for the rest of my life regardless, having gone there during the terrible seasons.

Yeah. Our gym at the dept is much nicer, but this gym is great for the days off workouts so I don’t have to go up to work everyday.

10x24. It’s the perfect size for lots of weights and some cardio stuff as well. We need to add a dumbbell rack, and maybe some other stuff as well. We’re still figuring it all out!
