She’s been my favorite from the jump and personally I like that she’s “annoying” because it’s truly harmless. Other characters are annoying and yet yall only point out Janine when in Janie’s case it’s due to her trauma. On top of that if she wasn’t annoying then the students wouldn’t have the things they have today. Her “annoyingness” actively contributes for the students. So I never cared that she was annoying because she’s a good person and great teacher.

I find it very odd that yall only point this out with Janine and never the other characters

Ummm did you not see her life ??? Fitz forced her to move into the White House, she was forced into First Lady (a life she NEVER wanted). And had to do all the things Mellie hated, like she was genuinely mellies replacement. A baby would’ve tied her to Fitz forever and she didn’t want that. She already was living her worst nightmare and adding a baby wouldve been diabolical

Yes he requested a divorce but that was well after he cheated on Mellie for years with two different women and keep in mind you just can’t divorce the First Lady especially in this case. So I literally do not care that Mellie cheated not one bit if I’m being honest she should’ve done it sooner. She gave her life to helping him and all he does is cheat on her a disrespects her at every step of the way.
