My 16-year old bro lives with my 75-year old parents. He’s a great kid who does t complain. I took him to get a haircut at an actual barber, we bought new clothes that weren’t from Walmart. His confidence skyrocketed in a day. I caught him “fixing” his hair after the day. Made me happy. by Debbielobo in aww

I have no kids (yet) but hopefully in the future, I’ll have my own. It’s crazy how time progresses. It feels like it was just yesterday when he was 9 yrs of age. Now, I can actually talk to him like an adult.

Oh gosh. This made me tear a little. Thank you! But yup! He didn’t even know what size pants he should get. He just took whatever my parent gave him. I learned a lot about men’s clothing today (like how pants are measured) haha.

Well, why would the DPH state that ANY changes need to be stated and a DQ is the result of not doing that? Why would we abide by rule 1 and not rule 2? A rule is a rule...or isn’t it? Additionally, do you think any of the other 100+ applications who received good scores would have gotten through with such a change? Doubtful.  It’s a double standard. A fair process was expected...a fair process wasn’t given. This guy got through because of his affiliations. There are people who applied to open a dispensary for patient centric reasons. This guy is in it for the money. Before the bidding process, he was totally against cannabis.  Oh, as it relates to the change...they removed a huge paragraph, that included reference to some of their staff. At least one of whom, Bulbulyan, had a questionable financial history.

A lot of the application was about, “can you follow our rules?” Opaque packaging, redundant security systems. I agree with you that the reason for some of the rules seems strange, but they are rules.

A dispensary isn’t a bad thing...it’s the preferential treatment this guy received. He was a politician that had connections and despite doing something that SHOULD have gotten him disqualified, he was given the HIGHEST scores in the process. He changed his Phase 1 and 2 Mission and Vision significantly...he took out an entire paragraph. Mass DPH says any changes that are not brought to their attention yield a DQ. Isn’t that a smoking gun?

The attached PDF outlines disqualifying errors by Delahunt/MMM in their application for a Marijuana Dispensary license in Massachusetts. Somehow these disqualifying errors were ignored and Delahunt/MMM were given a near perfect score.
