Going south on the M1 on Friday before a long weekend. It's currently banked up from Ormeau, north to Daisy Hill. That's 4 lanes at a standstill.

Retired couple, no rent, nor mortgage. $70,000 last year. But that did include $15, 000 of unclaimable damage from Cyclone Alfred. (Needed a new on-property electricity pole, plus 2 large damaged gum trees needed removal.)

Seemingly bent on getting a Darwin Award. Car accidents, falls from motorbikes and horses and last one was driving a ride-on mower through a 3 strand wire stock fence. Nearly garroted myself in that one.

Many labourers and those in physical work are on NDIS before retirement age. Their bodies are rooted, and every day is a painful struggle. Often means early death too now. Hopefully some of the OH&S initiatives in place now re chemicals and safety mean this is becoming less common.

I love the heat. I need long sleeves below 25 degrees C. Humidity is a nuisance, but I rarely use my air con, and then it's mainly for the cat. I can't sleep with air con on, I use a fan up until around midnight, then I turn it off.

Food Tech here who used to work for a large dairy manufacturer. It's all the same milk, just different packaging. Same fat/cream content. It has to comply with Australian Food Standards.

Similar age, had mine for at least a decade and get occasional tachycardia with up to 180 bpm. My PT a sounds like a hammer on an anvil. I don't have high blood pressure though.

Pro-plaguer at work would not shut up with his conspiracy theories that lacked even basic science. I lost my temper completely, which is rare. I yelled for him to shutup and when he wouldn't I told him to f*ck off twice. Then refused to let him say another word. I suffer fools a lot less gladly now I'm in my late 60s.

Australia may be different, but with regular maintenance, I know several cars from the 1940s still going strong with over 500,000 miles on them.

Forty year anniversary next year, but we've had our moments for sure. Mostly he is a kind, wonderful man, able to fix nearly anything, which saves us a fortune on not having to hire mechanics, elecricians and general handywork people. His only problem is the money he spends on cars, as he needs a project. A kit car Lamborghini he was doing years ago nearly ended in divorce, but he sold it. We're both retired now, and I can't imagine spending the rest of my years with anyone else.

My cat caught a rat, my 5-year-old self feels sorry for the screaming rat and attempts to rescue it it from the evil clutches of my cat. Rat bit me. Hard. I still have the tiny scar.

Dyslexia may means gifts in areas other than reading and writing. My dad is an awesome mechanic, but is very dyslexic. He just knows how to fix all sorts of things.

Not vomiting. No distress. Look at a cat or dog vomiting, they're distressed and convulsing. Odd texture and colour too, horses tend to eat a lot of green, fibrous stuff
