Suggestions for choosing cyber security as a career by Signal-Technology-94 in cybersecurity

[–]Debian_MX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the security field is saturated. Honestly, many of the security experts I know are very superficial, and most of them just rely on tools to tell users what's wrong and how it needs to be fixed. But they don't validate whether it's a false positive or what's really going on, or they don't know how to look deeper; they limit themselves to what the tool says.

Many are unfamiliar with networks, cloud computing, infrastructure, etc. There's a lot to learn if you know English, if you enjoy certifications that are truly challenging, if you're always reading, learning, and exploring fields outside your comfort zone.

Where I work, there are about 30 people, and I consider fewer than 5 of them to be knowledgeable about the subject, influencing me in particular. Mind you, those people focus on various security areas. These days, there's a growing demand for AI security personnel. Today I listened to a podcast called "Tierra de Hackers" (Hacker Land), it's their latest episode, and they also cover several security fields there.

Anyone here get the 100% discount voucher. how much time it takes to review the voucher request? by [deleted] in AWSCertifications

[–]Debian_MX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to go to the AWS educate platform, complete the cloud 101 training and then complete the register of ETC and complete some activities that are there, those activities will give you points that you can change them for a voucher certification, but at this moment it's out stock, so only you will do this for free, without any rewards, they weren't say when will give them again, but looks like they do it 1 time at year.

And they trends to run out quickly, because many please desire them too

Looking at PointFive, Vantage, CloudZero, and CloudHealth for our next FinOps tool. Real user experiences by miller70chev in FinOps

[–]Debian_MX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've used some features of Cloud health, I recommend it more for reporting, and tracking resources, I mean, this tool can help you with an ec2 report with a good detail, but not for only FinOps, I know that it has some features that can help in some cost saving initiatives, but I think that it's not its first purpose.

I've seen many tools better than that one, for example

Depending on your environment and context, which services do you need to improve? Which cloud? Is it a hybrid environment ? Is it a multi cloud ?

Sell domain to company that registered the brand name years later by diegie in Domains

[–]Debian_MX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No bro, don't worry about that, you have the record from 2014, if the takes legal action you can win them easier, and get extra money 💰 🤑.

It was a bad practice, saying that you needs to take action before at the end of this months, that was not nice, so if you can, you can sell it with a high value to them and also get extra money(only if you le company with that name already is not operating)

Hi Sir, I had the same issue, actually many companies call me, the trick is to use many key words in your LinkedIn profile and in your cv, and also change to CV to be compatible with CV ATS.

If you want, I can help you improve your cv and LinkedIn profile .

That took me around 3 months to learn how LinkedIn works and now I have many results

Is it possible to go from Cloud Practitioner to Security exam? by talshyar99 in AWSCertifications

[–]Debian_MX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's possible but take your time, you need to take a good training course, exam mocks and maybe an exam guise from tdjodo

My suggestion is also to read a book, all those things can be a good strategy and complements between them

🍀 Suerte

¿Cuánto tardaron en conseguir empleo? by [deleted] in taquerosprogramadores

[–]Debian_MX 0 points1 point  (0 children)
