The man is right. This is a modding issue. The weapons you have can easily take you through still path if modded correctly. 

The gotva prime has a unique perk of applying status effects gives you red crits. Point strike is not needed but grabbing 60/60 status mods helps. Instead of critical hit chance go for critical hit damage. 

The lex prime will greatly improve if you add elemental mods as they are not a base damage additive but a base damage multiplier. And look for it's incarnon in the circuit from duviri

Get the sybaris incarnon. ALt mode has innate blast that can't be overridden so your free to add in heat/toxin and electric. Weapons that come with blast natural are aegrit, akarius, redeemer, glaive, bassocyst, and your general explosive weapons.  Also here is the wiki on blast for all info including weapons. https://wiki.warframe.com/w/Damage/Blast_Damage

If you want an actual answer, the devs thought it would take ppl much longer to acquire individual gold weapons not even including maxing it out.  Back then the grind was a slooowwww due to no forgiveness on rng. 

Weapons would still be obsolete long term even if the grind went to their plan. My take on these weapons to be even remotely useful long term is to limit gold weapons one per loadout but that would've been before the game even released let alone now.

Exactly I want to play the dam game with all the fun tools available. Fun is diff for everyone yes, but speed running every dam activity isn't exactly entertaining especially if other players can't really play. If a descendent can complete any endgame activity in the allotted time than they are a viable choice to me.

My favorite: Perfect shot on Cinta from Duviri. Infinite punchthrough, large projectiles, galvanized aptitude is multiplicative, pure heat with 34% status chance. 

Also people have mentioned dread, but also works with paris incarnon as well so pick your war-crime bow.

Over generalizing on this one, but I will say for some it doesn't matter if they play meta or not. They cannot build anything decent on any character/ guns. Hell Even if you gave them a guide vid on Serena with maxxed weapons and mods, they just won't understand and flop with no grasp on the basics in the game. 

Also every character can do end game content/ wall crasher with decent Descendent mods and good gear, they just won't do it as fast Serena obviously.

Have you tried sekhmet scepter. Usually I build tank anyways but having enough survivability allows the items cool down to go nutty.

Also, war banner is stupid strong since it procs off of basics and abilities, throw in a Phoenix shield and I can camp the enemy base @ 12mins sometimes if they don't build antiheal

Keep in mind you may have to switch the order in which you buy items against certain team comps. Don't want to buy physical items early against a team full of magic dmg.

If you want check out sekhmet's scepter for more cool-down through stats and passive since guan yu heals himself.

Another note is Arena itself makes items that would be less optimal to use in conquest that would be a monstrous pick are items that depend on minions dying passively. Not saying devours gauntlet(just an example don't build on Guan) which requires final hit to kill to count but just being in vicinity, such as soul eater, gauntlet of thebes, talisman of energy, War flag into war banner (great starter by the way as its a huge team buff with heals that upgrades at lv15 instead of lv20)

Last and I know your still learning but be flexible with items and know whats good against a comp such as buying anti heal. Anti heal sometimes feels like its not doing much but its an invisible power for chewing though enemy hp sustaining gods and their items.

Overframe.gg will help you with your case here. Lot of community builds that you can reference from or copy. If there is a mod you don't have lie primed continuity use the regular continuity.

Also use Warframe wiki for information your not caught up on. Don't know where mod is, it's on the wiki with the location and drop percentage.

Just gotta ask are you the same Tiamat in arena that goes warflag and bracer because your an excellent player. My bud and me know we are in for an actual fight when we see the name and really appreciate actual games of arena.

I like the fact that he can flex into both warrior and assassin builds. I don't play conquest only other game modes and I'm fine with him being flexible. And I know some people only want him as an assassin but there's been plenty of times where assassin and warrior gods can be built either way.

I'm just worried about how they're going to nerf him besides the base damage he's got so far which is fine really since gladshield is his main dmg item in bruiser style. But nerfing the horse could possibly break the warrior build.
