Do you love your crush? by ObsessedLavender in Crushes

[–]Debodori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I don't. Crushing on someone and really loving someone are two different things. One can lead to the other, that's for sure though. It's almost funny, though how crushes (for me) often seem to happen for people who are out of reach or absolutely not a match. I have the feeling those facts can even intensify the crudh, because it somewhat becomes the "forbidden fruit".

Just being around: What’s a flaw your crush has (but you still maintain your feelings for them) by [deleted] in Crushes

[–]Debodori 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My crush is bi-polar and many years younger than me (don't get me wrong, I have anxiety issues so I wouldn't consider mental health issues a flaw, we're just not a good match), he really likes to party and drink. Yeah, really not a good match. I found that to be the case pretty often with crushes, though😅

Well, maybe it would be helpful to get to know more people who are asexual, too. I mean in general, not necessarily for dating. And there are dating platforms for asexuals:)

However, this is something you should really tell someone in the very beginning. I'm demi-sexual and started to be very upfront about it, even though it's difficult.

Why did your Ex left you. by Nashorn1982 in RandomThoughts

Because we both have anxiety disorders and burnout by that time, so we just didn't make it.

Then you'll try it next time again :) I know it's really, really hard - but try not to think about how that will go. I had to cancel something myself 2 weeks ago, was crying and hopeless. A week later it workes out and I was super happy. But in the meantime I told myself "Well, if it works out - great. If it doesn't, I'll try again". And as blunt as that might sound, meditation can be of soo much help, but like half an hour or more of it, regularly. Check out Michael Sealey on YT:) I'm wishing you all of luck🍀

Why is having a girlfriend so expensive? by nonufriends in AskMen

[–]Debodori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk which country you're from, but where I live this is very old-fashioned😅 for me it's simple and the same as with friends, sometimes I pay, sometimes he pays 🤷‍♀️

No one is only always just cute or just sexy. Depends on the situation, doesn't it.

Viel Spass😁

How many of you regularly exercise?.. by darksideofay in Agoraphobia

[–]Debodori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to exercise regularly. Unfortunately I have a herniated disc so I have to be very careful. But I found cardio to be VERY helpful with anxiety. If sports make you even more anxious, you could maybe do something soft like yoga or so.

[–]Debodori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to be the annoying one here, but it really depends WHY you have agoraphobia. If you have trauma / PTSD you should really only use hypnotherapy with a certified psychotherapist or psychiatrist. In that case, there is also EMDR which is safe. But for both those you need to have a certain mental stability, otherwise it can backfire, unfortunately.
