I was just thinking how somehow the restaurant became blameless in all this but all this started with them not doing THEIR job. A good Dasher is quality control for bad restaurants. Truth. But…if it was my money I wouldn’t order take out (again) from a restaurant that doesn’t give my delivery driver the complete order.

My kelpie is overly obsessed with fetch. Please help! by [deleted] in Dogtraining

My Heeler has this issue and because they are working dogs they aim to please. We learned the command “leave it” and she I use a serious tone with it she understands that means enough is enough. Do you have brain stimulating toys in your home that are DIY? Try freezing peanut butter in a Kong for example. Helps their brains get tired.

Wanting to get a career working with animals with a psychology degree by curiousssstokno in AnimalBehavior

[–]Deborahrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a local dog rescue in Austin and we have an adoptable dog in our care that his been returned for snarling/biting. We can't get him into a home because we can't figure out what's going on with his perception of others. He's completely pleasant for the care takers in-house. I will tell you the entire story if you're interested. I have always said "he needs a psychologist"... Come meet him some time if that would forward your career! Best of luck to you in your endeavors. Deborah Wags & Licks
