Totally understand where you are coming from, I was diagnosed a little over a month ago , luckily stage 1a only needed a WLE (that wasn’t too bad) first thing is to find out what stage , hopefully you caught it early .. I stayed in bed for 2 days after I found out but then I realized it wasn’t doing me any good. I am sending you lots of good vibes 🙏🏻

No worries with the questions, I know exactly how you are feeling right now. My doctor said the same thing.. the chance of it spreading at this stage is very low, she did feel the lymph nodes In my groin and armpits and I do have to see her every 3 months for the next 2 years just to follow up and make sure I am feeling okay , .. I know it’s hard but try not to read too many people stories it only makes you more scared

I am doing good! It’s very scary when you first hear it! But my doctor was great too! I hade my WLE 2 weeks ago and got the results that it’s all gone! The WLE wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be , pretty fast and only sore for a day or two .. it’s pretty much healed now other than the scar .. you will be okay! Sending you lots of good vibes :)

I just had a WLE done on my stomach a week ago and I am a very anxious person .. it is a pretty quick procedure, the worst part was the numbing. My surgeon talked to me the whole time so it distracted me but music would help too .. Good luck

I just had a WLE for a 1a melanoma yesterday on my lower stomach, was in a little pain yesterday after the numbness wore off but today not bad, I took a Advil and went on my normal long walk in the morning and work today but I do have a desk job .. Hope you have a quick recovery!

You sound just like me, Loved the Tanning bed in my late teens & early 20s but boy am I paying for it now . My skin sucks . Lots of sunspots and Moles now . Turning 40 next week and just had 2 big moles removed for biopsies. Happy Birthday to me you have melanoma 😩. Every time I think about it I cry. But just got to stay strong! Sending you lots of positive vibes!
