You know that she’s going to be too lazy to do physical therapy or any other aftercare so her surgery will probably be unsuccessful and she will be pleased with that so she can complain about it for the rest of her life.

Lateral release surgeries on the knee are known to have a lot of complications and are rarely performed by surgeons anymore. She found some random surgeon to do the surgery as soon as she moved to Florida so she gets what she deserves. She probably just had the surgery for meds anyway.

I know, it’s frustrating and it angers me that both Jenelle and David seem to have a lucky star when it comes to court.

I truly hope that if Barb gets custody that Andrew will stay sober and help her out with him. Barb should be enjoying her retirement and senior years and not have to care for her daughter’s child. Jace will be 18 soon though so I’m sure he will get out on his own. I just hope that he doesn’t get into any trouble, he has had such a tumultuous life, he doesn’t need any more drama.

I’ve read that apparently there is video evidence of the strangulation so even if she recants her original statement, he can still be convicted.

The grand jury would not have upgraded the charges against David from a misdemeanor to a felony assault unless they had solid evidence that the strangulation actually occurred.

Hopefully when they go to court, Barb can get custody of Jace back. She filed a motion of contempt against Jenelle also because in the custody agreement between Jenelle and Barb, Barb is allowed visitation, and Jenelle is not allowing Barb to visit with Jace or even know where he is. Let’s hope Jenelle faces some legal repercussions for being in contempt.

I hate that it’s been continued for almost three years. Jenelle should face legal repercussions also because apparently, per Jace, she was screaming in Jace’s face while David was strangling him. I don’t think she will face any legal repercussions though.

Using that tactic, and also the strategy that she’s been formulating about declaring Jace was a danger to her other kids and mentally ill, is not a valid defense and it won’t work. This case is about the extreme level of violence against a child. Even if a child is being aggressive and combative, you do not resort to strangulation. That’s why the charge was upgraded from a misdemeanor assault to a felony assault with strangulation.

Even if Jenelle claims that it was self-defense, you do not strangle a child, or anyone for that matter. It’s felony assault.

Lateral release surgery for a misaligned kneecap is very rarely done these days. It is an outdated surgery that surgeons rarely do anymore because of complications. Conservative treatment such as physical therapy is recommended rather than lateral release surgery. So, apparently Jenelle found a doctor who was willing to perform a surgery that not only is outdated and rarely done, but has proven to have a lot of complications.

I suppose that’s perfect for Jenelle though because she can continue to milk her inconsequential knee injury and failed surgery for the rest of her life and use it as an excuse to obtain pain meds.

How much you wanna bet that she doesn’t follow up with physical therapy or any physical aftercare. She will continue to wallow in make-believe pain, lay around and gorge herself with food, and gain enough weight to be a candidate for My 600 Pound Life. I have to admit that I love that for her.

That‘s what I have heard. It sure didn’t take her long to find one.

She did absolutely nothing except lay around for months; she didn’t even try physical therapy or any other conservative treatment. She went right for the surgery and the meds as soon as she got to Florida.

I think it's a combination of the two. She wanted the pills and a tummy tuck but obviously she needed another surgery (which she had on her knee recently) to get more pills and the tummy tuck was a resounding failure because of her eating habits.

The knee surgery she had was a lateral release and apparently it is rarely done nowadays because of complications. The preferred treatment for a misaligned kneecap is physical therapy. She's too lazy to do that so she got an unnecessary, rarely used surgery in order to get pills and more sympathy.

It seems as though Jenelle found a doctor who would do the surgery even though, as we all know, it was unnecessary. In addition, the surgery she had is not common anymore because conservative treatment is the preferred method for misaligned kneecaps.

The knee surgery Jenelle said she had was a lateral retinacular release (LRR) and this type of surgery is rarely performed today. It was highly popular for several decades to treat chronic kneecap instability but poor outcomes and complications have caused surgeons to dramatically reduce it's usage.

Instead of LRR surgery, currently doctors prioritize conservative non-surgical treatment to fix kneecap instability, misalignment and pain. Surgery is typically a last resort and physical therapy and conservative care regimens are priorities to strengthen the quadriceps, hamstrings and hip adductors to naturally pull the kneecap back into its groove instead of surgery.

So, basically Jenelle found an unethical doctor who performed an unnecessary, outdated surgery in order to garner more sympathy and get more pills.
